The Studio Unit sleeps 2 people and has a brand new renovated shower. It is furnished with a king bed, table and chairs inside and on the private lanai, small fridge, microwave, coffee pot, TV with Cable, WiFi, dishes, and bath and beach towels. It also has 2 snorkel sets, a boogie board, and beach chairs! You have access to newly renovated pool/jacuzzi and BBQ area. The unit has its own lanai and a parking pass for guest spot.

The Sandpiper is across the street from a gorgeous 2.1 mile walking path with breathtaking views of mountains trickled with waterfalls. It is around the corner from the world class Princeville Golf Course, a short walk to many secluded beaches, just a quarter of a mile to grocery stores and restaurants, and a short distance to many different types of adventures, such as exploring Queens Bath, hiking the Napali coast, kayaking the Hanalei river, or strolling through the wildlife sanctuary near the Kilauea Lighthouse.

Very expensive

It was expensive for the comfort. The bed was too unconfortable. The appartment is very noisy. We can hear a neighbor next door snoring.

Exactly what we needed.

This small quiet studio was ezactly what we needed. We didn't stay here much more than slespimg but that was the point of our vacation! Great area and great beaches on this side of the island.

Great price and location

The place was exactly what we needed and expected. A small and cheap little studio on the north side of the island for a few days. Its a quick drive to Hanalei Bay for some in the sun and the shops that were a few minutes away were great as well.

Ein wenig in die Jahre gekommenes Quartier. Es wird insbesondere bei Geschirr und Gebrauchsmitteln nicht sonderlich auf Sauberkeit geachtet. Auch das versprochene Strandequipment ist in die Jahre gekommen, verklebt oder erst garnicht benutzbar. Wir hatten dennoch eine gute Zeit und sagen Danke!

Princeville deception!

VRBO should audit their listings more often. Princeville is nice but this place wasn’t what i expected. A nice bedside Cockroach was first thing I noticed when walking in and Construction was going on at all hours of the night and unfortunately they didn’t stop when asked to. These VRBO owners are all about the money and not the quality of your stay. Beware I warned you.

The condo was adequate for our needs. Parking could be difficult. There were beach supplies available, which was a nice bonus! Room was clean and porch was large.

Just OK

Unit was not very well equipped. Remotes had no batteries. There was no toaster. Dishes and silverware were minimal. Had to wash dishes in the bathroom sink. Could use a hot plate in addition to the microwave. The ventilation lovers are frozen in position. There were no ice cube trays there is no lock on the screen door. There is no furniture for clothes, only a closet.

This was a great property. The location was perfect and the hot tub helped after long days of hiking. Close to amazing food and beaches. Recommend for a stay in Princeville.

Basic but just what you need

In an expensive area, this unit is a gem. Room was clean, well stocked with essentials and bed was comfortable. Location was ideal, and overall value cannot be beat.

We had planned a 3 days stay here/ Plenty of outdoor toys,chairs, ect (we left a few extras) Inside- microwave, coffee pot frig/freezer. Cups,plates are very worn unsure if the plates are. Microwavable., Pool was great and local neighbors were friendly

Great location to stay in the area. Property was quiet, and comfortable, with groceries, etc. a fairly short drive away. Lots of beaches and places to explore close by. I enjoyed just walking around the neighborhood to take in the beautiful views in the area. I only wish there had been a few more amenities in the condo, such as an ice cube tray, salt and pepper (we bought some and left it there), microwaveable dishes and items you could bbq with. I have stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and this one had the least for these kinds of items. There wasn’t much for options to cook your own food other than a microwave (with no microwaveable plates to use) or the communal bbq by the pool (I wasn’t aware that the bbq was by the pool as it wasn’t clear in the description). Even a toaster or a hot plate would have been useful. Ended up buying some tinfoil pans I could use to bbq breakfast with, as there also wasn’t anything available to use in the condo (they cost almost twelve dollars and I left one there). For the cost of eating in Hawaii, it would have been great to have more options for preparing our own food.

The property is beautiful super clean The room however for the price that we paid definitely not worth it all the remotes didnt have batteries besides one one of the fans didnt work very well. The vents really were not working couldn't open or close them they were stuck as they were. Parking was not the best die ti locals living on the same property.

Zweckmäßige Wohnung in ruhiger Lage und sehr schöner Umgebung

Wir haben 3 Nächte in der Unterkunft verbracht. Die Wohnung liegt in einer schönen, ruhigen Wohnanlage. Manchmal hatten wir Glück und einen Parkplatz in der Nähe, meist mussten wir aber auf den etwas entfernteren Parkplatz (ca. 2 Minuten zu Fuß) ausweichen. Das Doppelbett war bequem und die Wohnung war mit 2 Ventilatoren ausgestattet. Leider fehlten ein Deckenventilator und eine Klimaanlage. Es gab eine Mikrowelle und eine Kaffeemaschine sowie Besteck und Geschirr. Frühstücken konnte man auf einer überdachten Terrasse mit Blick auf die schöne Wohnanlage. Diverse Strandutensilien (Liegestühle, Sonnenschirm, Bodyboard) standen in der Wohnung zur Verfügung, außerdem Strandhandtücher. Der Self-Check-In klappte problemlos. Wir erhielten genaue Anweisungen, wie wir zur und in die Wohnung gelangen.

Princeville - Künstlich angelegte Ferienanlage

Das Appartement liegt in einer schönen, aber künstlich angelegten Feriensiedlung an einem Golfareal, die außer einem Pool keine Annehmlichkeiten bietet. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gab es, aber keine Restaurants oder Foodtrucks in der Nähe, ebenfalls kein Strandzugang. Das Appartement ist für 2 Personen von der Größe her völlig ausreichend. Wir hätten uns allerdings etwas mehr Ausstattung, z.B. einen Toaster, gewünscht. Ein Parkplatz war meistens in unmittelbarer Nähe zu bekommen. Für unseren Aufenthalt war es völlig o.k., nur die Sauberkeit würden wir bemängeln sowie, dass es wirklich viel Ungeziefer (Käfer) im Appartement gab.

Kauai, you had us at hello! We are IN LOVE with the island! We consider it our home away from home. We spent our honeymoon on the island and frequently come back. Some of our favorite things to do are kayak, hike, snorkel and explore this beautiful island. Kauai really is paradise.

Why they chose this property

We decided to purchase this property because of the airy feel of the unit. The many windows that you can open make you feel like you are outside. We also like being in Princeville because it is centrally located on the north shore, the gorgeous mountain and ocean scenery, and its proximity to the essentials.
