Disappointing Stay: Cleanliness and Remote Cabin

I regret having to leave this review, but I feel it's important for future guests to be aware of the issues we encountered during our stay.Cleanliness: This was one of the dirtiest properties we've ever stayed in (15 visits). Despite paying a high cleaning fee, there were cobwebs in nearly all corners & thick layers of dust on furniture and throughout the house. The level of uncleanliness was truly disappointing.Maintenance: Several blinds were broken, and the toilets in the basement and upstairs were unusually small - no more than 18" off the floor, more suitable for toddlers. The deck, which houses a hot tub, appears unstable. The supporting beams are noticeably crooked, raising questions about its safety. Additionally, we found numerous beer cans thrown off the decks and scattered in the woods below, suggesting this may have been used as a party cabin in the past.Location!! Location!! Location!! The property is accessed via a remote gravel driveway, which may not be suitable for all vehicles. This information was not clearly stated in the property details. On a positive note, the host was very responsive to communication.I have photographic evidence of these issues and would be willing to provide them if requested. In conclusion, while the location may be appealing, I cannot recommend this property due to the severe cleanliness issues and potential safety concerns. Significant improvements are needed before this can be considered a suitable rental property

Great Hosts! Great Cabin!

The cabin was great and hosts were exceptional. Wonderful communication, easy check-in and departure. We had no issues. Skeeball and foosball were a hit with the kiddos. View was amazing at sunset! There is a short gravel road on the last bit of the trip but we had no issues getting up in an SUV and van. Would definitely stay here again!

Great cabin

Our stay here was fantastic! We have no complaints about the cabin. The only part is the gravel road that leads up to the cabin was very icy during the time we went. Definitely would make sure you have 4x4 or AWD vehicle during the winter.

Family vacation

We found this location so my family could stay all in one place. My parents enjoyed the suite downstairs, and we stayed upstairs. It was great to have an extra bedroom and main area on the same floor. My toddler absolutely loved the games outside the room too. The views are unbelievable any time of the day and sunset was gorgeous. We did takeout one night with to make sure we saw the sunset from the back porch (dinner with a view)! It was very easy to check-in and check-out. The cabin feel is perfect for being in the mountains. The road to get there is narrow, but that should be expected for staying in the mountains - It worth it for the house and view! They have a nice area for parking too. I would definitely come back! It’s also so close to everything we wanted to see including shows, shopping, and hiking. Dakota was a great host - highly recommend!

Perfect Family Getaway

This was the best cabin for our family, including me and my husband and our two children and their families. The kids loved the games and the hot tub. We all loved the amazing view. Each family had a bedroom and bathroom which was great. We had the best of both worlds — an amazing mountain view and only minutes away from the strip! We had absolutely NO issues! Will definitely be back.

Cabin was nice and clean with beautiful view. Close to Pigeon Forge. Host was wonderful. Had car trouble the morning we were supposed to check out so we wound up needing to extend checkout time. Host was accommodating, kind and concerned.

Incredible Views, Beautiful Cabin, Extremely clean and roomy!!

I can't say enough about how wonderful this property is and how excellent the communication was from the owners. My family (myself, my husband, 14yo daughter and 13yo son stayed here March 8-12 for reference.) Views: Absolutely breathtaking. Photos and videos didn't even come close to capturing the beauty. Since the cabin sits on a super high ridgeline between peaks, you can see the serene mountains from the back porch and partially the city of Pigeon forge from the front deck and if you just walk a few steps, you can see it all. It's incredible. You basically get mountain and city view. Driveway: The drive up the mountain is paved almost the entire way up, and while steep in places, it was very tame compared to many mountain cabins I've been to. The last stretch is gravel, but it is almost completely flat and we had no trouble getting to the cabin, despite freezing temps and a dusting of snow. (And we drove a little 4 door Honda) The Cabin: The cabin is absolutely beautiful, the floors were definitely creaky but it added to the atmosphere of mountain cabin and we loved it. It was also absolutely spotless. Everything smelled fresh and like new. Location: 8 minutes to Pigeon Forge and an easy 25m drive to Gatlinburg. It was so private and quiet near the top of the mountain which we loved The only con was that their were no ottomans to put up our feet when watching a movie in the living room but that was a small thing! I highly highly recommend this cabin! It was amazing!!

Beautiful view, spacious with room for everyone

We loved this cabin! The host Dakota was a pleasure to work with. Always very responsive and friendly. We visit the area at least once a year and the location of this cabin was probably one of our favorites. The view from the back decks=BEAUTIFUL! At night from the front you can see all the lights from the Pigeon Forge strip. Just far enough off the strip to enjoy the Mountain View, but still super convenient to everything Pigeon Forge has to offer. The cabin itself was clean, spacious, welcoming, well decorated and comfortable. We will definitely book with Dakota again in the future! Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Hello! My wife, Katie, and I were both born and raised in Southern Indiana and graduated from Purdue University. We are passionate travelers and enjoy nothing more than a smooth stay with great communication with our hosts, available amenities, and unforgettable views. Katie and I have taken many trips to the Smokies over the years. Some of our favorite memories are drinking coffee on the cabin deck with a beautiful view and hiking many of the Great Smoky Mountain National park trails. We look forward to hosting you!
