Quiet & clean home

There were 6 adults staying and we were all very comfortable. Very glad to find a coffee maker (and coffee) in the kitchen along with many other conveniences. Just a short drive to Scarborough beach. Would highly recommend!

Good Family Stay in Narragansett

Our family of 6 (including 4 kiddos ages 12-7) stayed for 4 days/3 nights. Pros: This is a very family friendly rental with a well equipped kitchen, 3 good sized bedrooms, a back deck with dining table/grill, and a 3 minute drive to Scarborough Beach! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and provided towels/washcloths were super soft! There’s also a washer/dryer which is a great bonus when kids are involved! Very easy contactless checkin/out. Lee (property manager/wonder) was incredibly responsive to any and all questions, and even offered suggestions for local dining options. There are AC units in each bedroom and on the main floor which were easily able to keep the entire rental cool. Cons: only one bathroom (minor drawback!) and the downstairs bedrooms did have a musty smell, especially on hotter days.

Great location

The property is in very good condition. Recently remodeled and has AC in every room. It is a 10-15 min walk to Nauset beach. The house is on a quiet street and has a nice backyard. The beds are new and the mattresses are firm. We had 6 adults for our stay and the property is a little small for that many people. It was also a challenge having only 1 bathroom, but the outdoor shower helped. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay.

Home Away from home!

Our visit to Narragansett was beautiful starting with this house. The location was on a quiet street which was great for our kids being able to ride bikes and take walks. The yard was clean and big and I appreciated the clothes line for wet suits and towels. We loved using the outdoor shower and my bath averse boys enjoyed it twice per day! The house was adequately equipped for.cooking as we made most meals at home. The bedrooms were comfortable and the AC was new and worked perfectly with remotes. It's a not in all the action of town, which we liked, but only a short drive (minutes!) to all the shops, restaurants and beaches. It's a perfect home for young families as the bedrooms were all on one level and close together. It's also casually decorated and furnished so it worked well for a low key family like us.We would love to return!

Good space for a family. Close to beach.

Overall, it was good. Kitchen lacked garbage bags, and had just enough silverware for my family of 5 to use each meal. Adequately stocked with pots and pans, and plates. Other necessities included (dish soap, laundry soap, toiletries,) even though we brought our own. Basement bedrooms had a musty smell, and the bathroom didn’t smell very clean, Very soft towels and washcloths included. Nice bedding.! Individual air conditioning in each room. Nice back deck with new grill. Overall, a really nice space, and great for a few days at the beach!

Terrific place, lovely owner, good value

We were visiting our son; wanted to be relatively close to the beach. The ocean (rocks to watch) is < 0.3 miles; a great state beach is < 1 mi by car and closer to walk if you don't park. Great comfort in-room AC; well-equipped kitchen; beautiful deck and outdoor shower; VERY comfortable mattresses/bedding/linens (4-5 star hotel quality); living room beautifully decorated and comfortable. Priced right for accomodations/location esp as such nice linens are provided. There was soap, paper towels, TP, etc. Coffee maker with coffee! Communication with owner was spectacular.

Excellent family beach house

Adorable beachy decor, very clean, a short 5 minute walk from the gorgeous Scarborough State beach and a 5 min drive into either Narrangansett or Point Judith -- this house is PERFECT for a family or 3 couples. 3 bedrooms with incredibly comfy beds, AC kept us cool, kitchen had absolutely everything we needed (including thoughtful touches like coffee/tea all set up and ready to brew). Back deck was perfect size for small group. Outdoor shower was clean and wonderful for post-beach shower. Our teenagers could stretch out, walk to the beach, hang out, and even through a ball around in the large backyard. Though it's a townhouse, and there were renters on the other side, we did not hear a sound from anyone else. Delightful all around!

Great location

Cozy house in an unbeatable location on a very quiet street. We enjoyed the deck and thought the place was a really good value. Beds weren't great but we very much appreciated having the linens and towels provided and can't complain overall--very nice stay!

Great Location - Clean, Quiet house

We are a family of 5, this house fit us great with one of the kids on an air mattress. The Air Conditioner is upstairs on the living level w/ a dehumidifier down on the bedroom level. As someone who prefers life at 68 degrees, this was totally fine w/ a few fans and day time temps inland in the 90s (I guess my point is, this isn't central AC and each room does not have a window unit but that's fine). Walking distance to beach (we drove every time though, it would be a 10 minute walk max), very short drive to Narraganset Pier, short ride to Galilee, very quiet neighborhood, all of the appliances worked, having a washer and dryer was a huge help. Location is great, there are tons of things to do, lots of places to eat and several ice cream stands that required judging (we may have over done it on the ice cream. Brickles? was the winner...) This is a duplex - as we moved in our adjoining neighbor moved in with a baby, we were pretty sure we would hear the baby crying at some point. However, had we not seen their car pull in and out occasionally, we would have not known anyone was on the other side. The house (and neighborhood) is very, very quiet. Great spot.

nice area and close to beach

We were happy to see that the kitchen and bathroom were new and in good condition but the living room was terrible to relax in it had one small couch (which is not the pic it shows online) and two hard little chairs, the bedrooms smelled moldy and so did the dressers and closet, I had to wash all my clothes over when I got home. There was a little closet that housed the washer and dryer which were leaking and they had a dehumidifier in there which was pouring out hot air. One bedroom had a really nice mattress (new) but the other two bedrooms had uncomfortable mattresses, the refrigerator was leaking badly so we had to keep a towel in front on floor at all times. I called the office twice to report it they said someone would get back to me but never did. Plus everything the other review said about the floors in bedrooms etc. I wouldn't stay there again!

Everything You Need

This house pretty much had everything we needed for the week. There are however some suggestions that I would make for improvements. The bed mattresses could use an up date and the downstairs laminate floor was obviously not installed correctly. There is some significant warping of the various pieces. This could be easily repaired. The lack of air conditioning could be a factor during very hot weather. Finally, some documentation regarding how the TV works (cable channels are pretty limited, how to sign on to the Wi-fi, when garbage is picked up, what to do with reyclables, and where to find things would be helpful. In other places we've rented, a log is available for visitors to share heir experiences. We found that to be really helpful. In any case, none of these issues woud necessarily discourage us from re-visiting. We were able to comfortably sleep 6 and the kitchen was well-resourced. We loved being close to Black Point and within a mile of Scarborough Beach.
