Received no information about check-in prior to me asking for it day of, had to scramble to provide documentation that hadn't been requested until the check-in information was received. Had to handle this in the car on the way to the rental. Generally clean property, not enough resources (toilet paper, towels, etc.) for the length of stay. Owners responsive to texts on their personal device, but didn't take initiative in the booking information
We were traveling for work. Great communication with the host. It was a perfect fit for what we were looking for. Great location for food. Would def utilize again.
I loved this apartment for a friend reunion. It is on the 2nd floor which is worth knowing if you have mobility issues. It was 8/10 clean and needs a couple minor repairs in the bathroom (missing trim with tiny nails poking out, slow-draining tub). But overall, and certainly for the price, it was a great stay and great location. It has 1 designated parking spot. It was also pet friendly, but if you have a breed that sheds a lot, they might charge an extra cleaning fee for the furniture, so be careful.
My family of four stayed here for a weekend while visiting our oldest at Ohio State University. The apartment was exactly as described and very clean. If you’re looking for a nice, clean and comfortable stay, then this is the place for you! It’s not fancy, but has everything you need. Perfect location and walking distance to great restaurants. The owner was very easy to contact and communicate with. Would stay again.
The pictures are accurate and the property managers are helpful and friendly. The location is great, and there are plenty of things to do within walking distance.
We just needed a place to stay on a weekend trip its a simple no frills place. Quiet neighborhood within walking distance or a short drive to numerous places and restaurants
Great location at a great price, but definitely did not feel like home
I wasn't going to leave a review because I don't like to say anything negative about properties unless it's really egregious or intentional, but I felt it is important for others to know what they are booking so they have proper expectations. This is a great location as advertised... so easy to walk out to High St and all it has to offer. I happened to receive a great price on it as well. Happy on those two fronts.
However, it was not clean (despite having been cleaned and despite a 5pm check-in) and that caused additional health issues for me (I was a bit sick and became more sick) and wasn't particularly comfortable. The lighting is lacking and furniture is below average (one of the beds is quite old and the mattress pad needed to be washed in order for it not to smell quite bad). My daughter described it as "dank" and that's probably a good word for it. We got used to it and were fine in the end, but it was definitely not the nicest place we've been.
Check-in is also strange... they require photo id's for "insurance" (I have rental properties and lots of insurance policies... none have ever required that) and that gummed up our check-in process, resulting in me having to take a zoom call in my car instead of in the unit.
I think the property managers mean well and they were responsive to my concerns, so I give them props for that. Possible they are inexperienced and hopefully they will learn from mistakes.
The place was nice, clean, and exactly like pictured. We came for a business conference and it was great to be close to the convention center and all the great dining choices.
Everything about this experience was perfect. Excellent communication with the owners. Very central location in Columbus. I would definitely stay here again.
My friends and I came to stay at this property for a concert in town. It was incredibly close to high street and exactly as advertised. The property manager was easy to get in contact with and very willing to accommodate. We had a great time.

Issues
1st. The good. The location was perfect. just 1 block away from the short North, the heart of Columbus night life, restaurants and entertainment. The apartment was spacious, and I appreciated the extra blow-up mattresses due to my back not tolerating hard mattresses.
2nd. The Bad. Communcation with the Host and Vrbo was terrible. The first communication with the host was delayed, due to his non-response for 20 hours AFTER I found the room and paid for it. Guess we had to wait for him to accept us as guest. That's ridiculous. The day before we left an email was sent to me saying ALL guest needed to forward copies of their federal ID to the host. I previously sent mine to him, but now my 83 year old mother-in law had to send Her's also. She doesn't drive and has none. After many emails and many calls to the host there was no response. Finally, after repeated text's and calls he responded. He said to ignore the email because he had my ID. So why send the email in the first place, causing severe stress for us?? Basically, we didn't know with 100% surety we had a place to stay until we were 1 hour away from Columbus. If this is the way it works with every Vrbo, I'll book my stays elsewhere.
This is a very nice no-frills low cost 2 bedroom with full size beds unit located near North High Street. There are no fancy decorations, but you'll have everything that you need for a comfortable stay. Communicating with host was simple and he will make sure that you have everything needed for your stay. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay along the Short North Arts District, then this is the unit for you.
Eric and his fiancé were absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. The apartment was just as described and very clean! Parking was a breeze and the neighborhood was very quiet! Lots of restaurants and places to see in the area!
