The Adventure Inn has been beautifully restored and features a huge stone fireplace with gas logs in the central dining and living room area.
Slope side home in the winter months to Snow Riders which allows for excellent access to the tubing runs. Lights and potentially other guests on the slope may be seen from the home.

Nice and big with multiple rooms

This was the perfect size for our family of 6. There was some road noise and it wasn’t really a “peaceful” or serene location. Perfect for using River riders. You can just walk, especially during the winter/snowtubing as it is right out of the back door. Kitchen is well stocked.

Family Vacation 2024

Beautiful house. Lots of closet space. Needs some love but nothing major. Most of kitchen chairs are really lose so watch where you sit! Great space for large families!

Huge house- great for groups

Loved this older house with a lot of character but for a house this large there was not the right amount of silverware and the tiniest coffee pot. We had an ant problem that the management came over and took care of immediately. Very close to Harpers Ferry. There is also a snow tube/zip line/ ropes course in back of the house that while in operation could be noisy.

Wonderful stay!

The home is clean, perfectly located if you're planning to snow tube or river raft, zip line, etc. Plenty of room for large families or grouo of adults. The hot tub is clean and large enough for several people. Private deck. Only a couple miles from Walmart if you need groceries, etc. Would recommend and would stay again

Our stay was wonderful the ladies loved it so busy talking, chatting laughing around the fire pit and dinner table definitely will have to use the hot tub next time!! first floor bedroom was a bonus as well as first floor bathroom nice layout we loved it!!

Nice place and close to activities

The house was exactly as shown online. Lots of space in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The hot tub was a large size, so great for multiple people to get into. Very private and only ten minutes from downtown. Just a walk up to the tubing/rafting shop. My only comments would be: take beach towels for the hot tub, extra dishwasher and laundry soap as the house didn’t have it. And also extra trash bags as there was only one we could use. Overall, would recommend to large groups and families.

Great Girls' Weekend

Our group of women enjoyed our stay as we visited the different wineries in the area. The house was roomy and offered everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the family room with the huge stone fireplace. We would definitely stay there again.

Family visit

Our family of 8 stayed for a week. The house is great and description was accurate. We have kids aged from 2 to 9. Everyone had a good time, although more toddler friendly amenities would be appreciated (High chair, pack n play).

Very, Very, Very, Close to River Riders

Place is right next door to River Riders. So if you plan to go to Harpers Ferry for tubing, this is the place to stay. Good for families as there are 4 bedrooms, one of which is a room of bunkbeds. There are games in the kitchen closet for families to play. Also good for a group of friends who are couples. Anything more than 4 single guys, then it's not ideal. We booked this place for the hot tub. The hot tub was nice, just wish we could figure out how to raise the temp. There's a grill and firepit outback that looked nice, but was too cold/windy to use. The gas fireplace in the living room was great. Kitchen is fully stocked with glasses, plates, utensils, pots/pans, etc. Communication with property manager could have been better, is the only knock on the place.

Spacious home but noisy

The home location was good for our purposes but was also located right next to US 340. Loud! Home is very spacious with very big hot tub. Disappointed that there was no bath soap, shampoo, lotion as stated in their check in flyer. Nice and clean!

Amazing Rental - Clean and Lots of Space

Rental was great. Spacious with lots of room for family to stay the night or spend the day. Clean. Yard was nice also. A bit of highway noise was drowned out by fans. Great location - beautiful and close to Harpers Ferry.

Girls trip

Had an amazing time in Harpers Ferry despite the spring to winter weather within 24 hrs. We enjoyed the hot tub in the snow while snowed in on day 3. Great location in relation to downtown and Charlestown. Maintenance was quick to respond when our hot water wasn't working. Otherwise the house is fantastic and we were discussing returning again in the summer! Biggest recommendation would be fans upstairs. It is super hot up there and no air movement. Where memories were made

Our family came from out of town to gather together at this home for the weekend for my daughter's wedding. There was plenty of room and sleeping options for our large family. We really enjoyed everything about the house. It had comfy furnishings and comfy beds, and a cozy atmosphere Our favorite thing was the large family room with the large table and fireplace and of course the hot tub. We would enjoy returning in warmer weather for a tubing trip. There are many attractions nearby to enjoy. The only issues we had at all was the heat in home was hard to regulate in all rooms (really hot upstairs and cold in bedroom on first floor) and the water in kitchen sink froze off one night. That being said , it is an older home and we were there during an extemely cold spell in January. Definately nothing that would prevent us from returning for another stay or reccomending this vacation rental to others. Oh! and you can bring you're fur babies. We had a wonderful stay and made many special memories.

Beautiful, Spacious historical home

We were in town from Texas to visit family. We are a family of 7. Kids ages range from 16-5. There was plenty of space for everyone to have down time. We all enjoyed the fireplace on cold mornings. The kitchen was pretty well equipped to make simple meals. There were several extra pillows and throw blankets which we enjoyed. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely rent again.
