Disappointing Property
Unfortunately, the pictures, description and reviews of this property did not match my experience.
1) Property was not thoroughly cleaned prior to arrival. Several bottles of open cleaning supplies left on counters. Kitchen floor was very dirty.
2) Upon walking into home, we were all hit with an overwhelming musty smell. Left windows open the entire stay and purchased scented candles, but really didn't help.
3) Listing failed to mention a converted garage apartment in the backyard. No curtains or blinds in the kitchen, so the lights from this apartment glared through the windows all evening long. Also, had planned to use the backyard but did not due to renters coming and going through the yard. Lastly, the other renters competed with us to use the driveway for parking and this became very inconvenient.
4) The general neighborhood was sketchy at best. Abandoned house across the street, large aggressive dogs roaming the block, many neighboring homes in disrepair.
I cannot recommend this unit and would not stay there again.
