Nature & Activities
Thompson Lake is one of Maine’s cleanest and most serene spring-fed lakes, perfect for swimming, paddleboarding, sailing, canoeing, water skiing, tubing, and of course, fishing. With its deep clear water and quiet coves, it's a haven for both relaxation and adventure.
Listen to the call of the loons, spot turtles in the lagoon, or watch for bald eagles soaring above. We have had a family of eagles on the island. In July, enjoy fireworks from the lake and distant displays from Oxford Speedway.
On the mainland, nearby dirt roads are ideal for mountain biking and exploring the scenic surroundings.
Parking & Access
Mainland: 2 parking spots and a dock space for 1 boat
Island: Dock accommodates 2 average-sized boats
