Great property in a quiet location! Super easy laid back experience. Home was well stocked with everything we needed. Coffee pods in the morning were an added bonus!
If I could give 10 stars I would. This place was amazing and hit all our requirements for a great stay during our hiking trip to Rocky Mountain national park. Clean, well stocked, comfortable beds, tasteful renovations to the property, and excellent hiking advice from the owners.
Would absolutely stay again!
Clean and wonderful property woth a great view and a short walk to the riverwalk. It has everything you need..highly recommend property manager was awesome
We loved the little retreat. It was very clean and had everything we needed all organized and ready for us The owners were very helpful and friendly, and we're excited to visit the area again and to stay at the retreat again!
Everything about this stay was wonderful. The hosts were informative and helpful and so generous with supplies. House was clean and very well-equipped.
Property is comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. It is close to town and the national park. Great views. We would visit again. Wish we had more time here.
Great space and location with awesome hosts! The space was clean, comfy and well stocked. Hosts are very friendly with great hiking and park tips. 5 stars!!
We had a wonderful time! Great location. Our hosts were great and offered so many valuable tips and suggestions. Thanks a bunch. Hope to make it out again soon.
Best hosts ever, they had sleds they let us use, free passes to the mountain coaster and lots of information about Estes park. We highly recommend staying here.
We had a great time in Estes Park. This place had plenty of room for our family of 5( 2 adults 3 kids) ! The beds were comfortable the place is perfectly located close to everything and the host was very friendly and responded quickly to all of our questions. The kitchen has everything you will need and more . We will definitely be returning ! We visited in Early June and the pine trees were pollinating like crazy so maybe take some allergy meds with you ! Other than that most excellent time !
Our stay was wonderful thanks to Liz and Dick. Very beautiful and clean home. The beds were sooooo comfortable which was great for rest after an adventurous day in Estes. Definitely plan to go back.
This rental is fantastic. It is in a great location next to just about everything offered at Estes Park. Everything was clean, and ready to go for check-in, not to mention the hosts allowed us to access the property earlier than contracted. Thank you for that! My family and I loved this trip and a major part of it was the coziness we all felt at this property. Leah and the owners are A+
This owner provided more kitchen equipment than any VRBO rental we have had. The walk to down town was easy and the views awesome.
We had elk walk by daily, often as i was sitting on the patio. We do on average one or two VRBO rentals a year and this was the best one we've found.
Things we loved about this place:
Beds good
Nice Patio under upper deck
Kitchen with everything we needed- dishes, cookware, grilling utensils, etc.
Great Location- short to RMNP and walk to downtown
Mountain Coaster Passes Fun
Everything worked well
Things that weren't as expected, but not bad:
No Air conditioning or thermostat so hard to regulate temp in the place (wasn't hot though because in basement)
In a basement so seems a bit musty smelling if closed up all day
Bright in the morning with the East facing windows (this could be a plus for some)
Main home on the first floor, but never saw anyone home up there so don't know if it would be noisy if they were around.
The home was situated in a perfect location. We were able to walk into town a number of times, via sidewalk, to avoid the need for parking. The space was ideal for my wife and I plus our two college age children. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. The outdoor seating and fire pit is wonderful gathering space for evening conversations.
What sets this property apart from other VRBO's are the owners, Liz and Dick. They really go out of their way to ensure you will have a memorable stay. They make themselves available for any questions from hiking recommendations to restaurants. Liz is an avid hiker and spent a good 15 minutes with us one day going over trail options. On top of that, they are simply a pleasure to have a conversation with.
We also operate a VRBO and can appreciate the attention to detail with this listing. For example, there was a Keurig machine with coffee pods upon arrival but also a traditional coffee machine for folks like us wanting to make a full pot in the morning. We like to cook so we were happy to see multiple sizes of storage containers and plastic zip lock bags. We typically bring our own laundry detergent but that was not needed on this trip. There was an abundant supply of detergent pods at our disposal.
If you are looking for a great home base for your Rocky Mountain National Park adventure, look no further.
We loved our stay at Liz & Dick’s home in Estes Park! The house was immaculate and they have added so many thoughtful details, from detailed labeling of switches and cupboards to toys and games for the whole family. Not to mention the beautiful views with the convenience of still being so close to downtown and Rocky Mountain National Park. We had everything we needed for our family of six, including 4 young children, and they were such friendly and accommodating hosts - we felt so at home! We truly hope we will be able to visit again and stay here soon!
