no hot tub

we saw that a hot tub was advertised as well as a ping-pong table, were very disappointed that neither were as advertised. These amenities is why we spent the extra $ for this place. Only 5 adults so we didn't need this big of a house. Also the garage "game-room" was advertised as heated and cooled. No heat found so it was chilly out there if we decided to spend time out there. The basement bedroom with three queen beds are all the memory foam mattresses, if you aren't accustomed to that (we weren't) so very uncomfortable. The kitchen was accurately advertised and did not dissapoint. November stay so we didn't use pool or outdoor area.

Grimes Getaway

The Lawton family were excellent hosts from check-in through check-out. Great communication and thoughtful responses. The home was more than accommodating with space with plenty of beds, blankets, pillows and amount of bathrooms for the space. Our team loved the oversized game room and full basement as places to chill out after a weekend competing at Hyvee Hall.

Grimes House

Nice house, great location! Plenty of room for eight people. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed. We really enjoyed the basement living area! Would definitely stay here again.

Christmas in July!

This was the perfect place for our family to get together for a long weekend! The hosts have thought of everything you will need to make your stay comfortable and entertaining. The game room and pool are amazing! The house had a great layout and was very clean. The neighborhood was perfect for stroller walks and visiting a nearby ice cream store. Thank you so much!

Amazing stay!

Property was very beautiful. Neighborhood was quiet. Spent most of our time enjoying the relaxing patio and the awesome pool. House was very clean, well stocked and had everything we needed. Gameroom was fun also. Something for everyone. Would highly recommend this property! Was a great place to spend time with family.

Perfect spot for our family to gather from southwest and southeast Iowa - something for everyone!

Fantastic house with the lovely pool, awesome patio, and fun game room! Everyone had a bed and/or bedroom. It was perfect for us!

ISU Graduation weekend

This was an awesome location and property for our ISU graduate's celebration. We traveled from NE Iowa and Texas, we able to stay at one location and had lots of space to gather and converse. The outdoor space and perfect weather were the perfect combination for a grill out. Hosts were great!! And the game room saw a lot of spirited competition. We would definitely stay again. The pool was opened the night we arrived, so we didnt get to use it. However, it completes the outdoor space. To the hosts......until next time.

Great Place in Grimes

Had 8 guys for a golf trip. Really comfortable. So nice to eat outside and relax and watch tv and the garage with pool and games is wonderful. Will stay again if in the area.

Great family getaway

Beautiful house, perfect for our damily weekend. The game room was a HUGE hit, kids ranged from 4-13. House was spotless and well appointed. Thank you for helping us make great memories!
