About this property

Black Bear Bungalow at Coops Creek Cabins

Black Bear Bungalow (part of Coops Creek Cabins) is a comfortable 300 square foot cabin nestled in a cozy, wooded hollow on Coops Creek. We are adjacent to the Historic Dunlap Coke Ovens Park, and only one mile from the center of town - giving our visitors a quaint, secluded accommodation with the convenience of being in town. Centrally located, visitors can enjoy day trips to Chattanooga, Crossville, McMinnville, Jasper, Murfreeboro, Woodbury, etc. (This includes Fall Creek Falls State Park and Cumberland Mountain State Park).

Hike the nearby trails, check out the many local restaurants and shops, take day trips to many tourist attractions, or just hang out in this cozy cabin and relax all day.

Raccoon Lodge has all the comforts of home: a snug loft bedroom (accessed by a ladder), a comfortable sofa bed with a memory foam mattress and optional air mattress, a back deck overlooking Coops Creek, a firepit, a small kitchen with all the basics provided for cooking simple meals, a full bathroom with a stand up shower, central heat and air, an electric fireplace, direct access to the Coke Ovens Park and Museum including hiking trails, plus much more.

Each cabin has brochures to help you plan your stay. Please see our welcome guide or message us for more specific information.
