Conveniently located at the entrance of the Golden Isles’ St. Simons Island, GA, by the historic Epworth By The Sea. Enjoy the gentle breeze on the screened-in porch overlooking the enticing green space, or take a relaxing walk over to the beautiful lake and sparkling community pool.
The Mae is within a brief walking distance to Epworth By The Sea and Gascoigne Bluff Park overlooking the Frederica River... enjoy the public fishing pier, disc golf course, and stroll through the @stsimonslandtrust protected Gateway Property... or hop in the car and take a quick drive to any of our island's 41 different public beach access points.The Mae has all the bells and whistles to make your stay relaxing, comfortable and memorable. Complimentary bi-monthly cleaning for mid-term tenants, ROKU streaming tv's, brand-new appliances, gas grill, bicycles, and more.
1% of all stays are donated to the SSI Land Trust's Pennies for Preservation program which helps raise funds to preserve and protect greenspaces, wilderness areas, trails, waterways, wildlife, important habitat, and tree canopy on St. Simons Island.

When I'm not sharing my love of the Costal Lowcountry, I'm a social entrepreneur who helps others build purpose driven businesses they love around the lives they’re called to live. I’m a Daughter of the King, married to medicine, neurodiverse homeschooling, minion wrangling mama of 5, who loves encouraging others, drinking earl grey tea and decaf lattes, riding horses, and spending time in God’s creation. In 2022, I fulfilled a lifelong dream of returning home by launching Komoto Coastal Properties and now own our very own piece of our beautiful little island, and we’re eager to share our dream with you. The Golden Isles are an unspoiled chain of barrier islands nestled into the coast of Georgia, halfway between Savannah and Jacksonville. There’s truly something for everyone in our beautiful Golden Isles… from families, nature-lovers, fishing and water sports enthusiasts, golfers, and history buffs. Our mild winters paired with natural beaches, endless stretches of breathtaking saltwater marshes, maritime forests filled with live oaks draped in spanish moss, historical sites dating from as early as the 1700s, and plentiful wildlife on both land and sea beckon to all.
