About this property
Light filled mid-century modern home near Childrens Hospital and UW.
A mid-century modern treehouse with a newly renovated chef's kitchen and all the goodies that come with that - Blue Star stove, pot filler, walnut shelves. The house gets beautiful light year round, and has a fire place to get cozy during rainy Seattle days. Entertainment-sized elevated deck for sunny days with BBQ. We have garage parking located in back (to avoid stair climb from street parking). It's located in a lovely neighborhood that is highly walkable for groceries, shopping, coffee shops and restaurants as well as new two renowned hospitals and the University of Washington.
- Quiet and Peaceful neighborhood with excellent access to Seattle and
Eastside. Also one short bus ride away from the Link Light Rail
- UW Wetland Trail and Horticulture center fantastic for walking dogs, bird
watching, lakefront access. 5 min walk
- University Village Outdoor Shopping Center. 10 min walk
- Metropolitan Market Grocery Store: 10 min walk
- Laurelhurst Park. 5 min walk
- Magnusson Park. 5 min drive
We would be happy to put a real bed in the 2nd bedroom if the sofa bed doesn't work for you. The sofa bed is from Room and Board and quite comfortable..

Why they chose this property
We were so lucky to find a house in the highly sought after neighborhood of Laurelhurst. It's quite, peaceful and well kept. It's a special place. A retreat from the city, but close enough to everything Seattle has to offer.
