House was clean, quaint and quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay! Check in was very easy and convenient to all things in town. Thank you Jay for a memorable time with my mom!
The house was super cute. Easy to locate, really clean and comfortable. Very pet friendly our two fur babies were comfortable staying there and that says a lot for them.. would rent suite magnolia again.Thank you!
The cleanliness & communication could’ve improved a bit, but overall it was a good stay. The home is charming & a little creaky, but that’s to be expected with age. It’s located in a nice, quiet neighborhood.
It was an enjoyable stay. The place was nice although it wasn't overly stocked in the kitchen if you want to cook there. The neighborhood was quiet and nice and beds comfortable. The children enjoyed the toys.

Reunion stay
The house is great. Just a few comments on some things that I think would be a nice add 1. A one cup coffee maker instead of one that does big amounts of coffee. We had 1 coffee drinker and 1 tea drinker. With that not a full stock of coffee.tea pids but maybe one or two someone could pop in in case they did not have time to go to the store until the next day. 2. Lamps at the each end of the couch so you do not have to have the overhead lights on. And curious - tons of shampoo all different kinds but no body wash. It is the small amenities that keep coming back. I Wouk’s stay here again.
it was just as expected, host was very kind, easy access, clean house. I would advise only one change The Beds were HORRIBLE, very uncomfortable. Everything else was GREAT. I would bring my own blow up and definately stay there again, esp with dog, the neighbors were kind, the back yard was perfect for a dog to stay. you could see the police station from the back door for those who are safety conscious. never felt unsafe.
We booked this trip 3 months in advance for a girls trip to the Silos. We specifically booked this house for the cute “country vibes” and because the listing said it had a hot tub. The house had no hot tub. The owner blamed it on VRBO and said “I’ll see if they’ll do reimburse you somehow.” And we never heard back. Other than that disappointment, everything else about our stay was great. We had a great time.
Communication with Jay was not good. The day we were supposed to arrive Jay didn’t give us check in information until after check in time (just about an hour past, a little less) which was very scary as we drove from Minnesota. We ran out of toilet paper and he never responded. We had to go get our own. That was the most frustrating thing and honestly rude. House was okay, creaky but is older. You can tell they did all the updates themselves. Bed was not great, very hard and the bed frame was cheap so creaked with any shift
of movement. Laundry room smells of mold/mildew. Location - it’s not as close to things as you’d think. At least a 10 min drive anywhere. Neighbors dogs barked almost every morning we were there, bright and early! This place was NOT clean. There was yellow marks on every single pillow that looked like pee stains honestly. The blankets, couch felt gross and sticky. Tub leaked water all over the floor when showering so we had to clean that up each time. They also left some “snacks” all were expired so we tossed. Not a good experience. I’ve had plenty of time to contemplate this and still am very frustrated by the price and our experience. We have stayed in VRBOs and never had an experience like this. Some things were out of his control but not responding to the no toilet paper, late check in info were deal breakers to us. The dirty pillows, blankets and couch were also very gross.
I wouldn’t stay here ever again and wouldn’t encourage you to either.
