We had a great stay at the cabin. Communication with the hosts was excellent and cabin was supplied with all the necessities plus a lot of great extras. The location is fantastic for relaxing kayaking and nearby exploring.
We enjoyed our stay at this immaculate little cabin! The owners couldn't have been more helpful. The cabin is charmingly decorated and has everything one needs for a pleasant stay.
Everything about this spot worked - the in-line description, the amenities, communications with the owner, including her responsiveness, cleanliness, and more.
What stood out especially were the small offerings that made us feel more than welcome - some things to eat and drink on our arrival - a first in all our many travels. This spot is a gem and I imagine we may return.
A very nicely done cabin in the woods. Very clean and secluded. Kelly and Duane are very helpful and caring. They have put a lot of effort into making this cabin comfortable for their guests.
Beautiful cabin snuggled in the woods near a river - need I say more? Toasty gas stove, brand new log cabin - winter wonderland. Cant wait to go back for summer fun too! Thank you to the amazing hosts that made our stay extra special. 💜
If you're looking for a peaceful, restful stay, this is for you. This secluded cabin overlooks the river, and is in a great location. It was originally booked for my husband and I, but at the last minute, my brother-in-law needed a place to stay and Kelly was able to accommodate us. She was excellent to work with, and always available to answer questions. We're hoping to go back in the summer. We loved it.

About the host
Hosted by Duane R Furlong
In 2023 we decided to built a new log cabin to provide travelers with the ultimate Maine cabin experience. The cabin sits beside a small river and has a long driveway with no visible neighbors. We have provided all new appliances and furnishings for your comfort. We take great pride in our new cabin and the comfort of our guests. Duane is semi retired saw mill owner and is a wealth of knowledge on local history as he has lived in this area all of his life. Kelly is a Registered Nurse and enjoys helping people and showing her beloved Miniature American Shepherds. She grew up as the daughter of a Light house keeper of many local light houses and small motel owner when retired from the Coast Guard.
