We first visited Durango about 10 years ago on the recommendation from a friend and we absolutely fell in love with the town. After many years of visiting for vacations, inviting friends and family to see this great place, and constantly checking the real estate listings, everything aligned for us to make our dream of having a house in Durango a reality. The name Downtown Durango Dreamin' has a double meaning - it was our dream to have a home here and also we hope our guests have a comfortable, dreamy stay! Guests have confirmed that the house has been an excellent choice for their stays and hearing this positive feedback has made our time hosting very enjoyable!
Why they chose this property
We love the uniqueness of Downtown Durango with the beautiful Victorian architecture throughout the neighborhood. It's a friendly, residential area that is lively but not noisy. Walking to favorite restaurants and shops is quick and easy in this pedestrian and bike-friendly town. During the warmer months, the farmer's market and various festivals and events happen just a few blocks away. There is no shortage of fun to be had in this town!
What makes this property unique
Our property is unique because it is one of the larger rentals available downtown that can accommodate groups of 10 adults plus a few kids comfortably. There is space for multi-generational groups with bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor as well as upstairs. We include almost every amenity that a family with young children could need from high chairs to toys. Additionally, there are several outdoor spaces, a fully fenced yard that is safe for kids and pets, and a detached, oversized garage with a game room. Making great vacation memories is easy at Downtown Durango Dreamin' - all you have to do it book it!
