Rustic 1940's Appalachian Summer Cabin w/hot tub - Black Mountain
At Black Mountain Reverie Cabin our atmosphere is reminiscent of times past, when life moved a bit more slowly. For almost a century, this cabin has been a haven for family memories and adventures. You won't find any WiFi or Alexa here, our cabin is focused on disconnecting from daily life and spending some time together... Just like the good ol' days! We offer a small collection of vinyl records and VHS tapes to keep you entertained, even a Nintendo and some board games if you are up for a challenge. We are located just 1 mile from downtown Black Mountain, so getting to the good stuff is easy! This cabin is very private while still being conveniently located. Local hiking trails are also about 1 mile from our cabin but there is plenty of space and trails to stretch your legs right outside our door. Relax and take in some mountain views in our 3-person hot tub

Incredible spot to spend a weekend away. Met or exceeded expectations in all ways and really enjoyed the hot tub and screened in porch to relax! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to spend a weekend away. Short drive to Black Mountain and Asheville downtown as well.
We truly enjoyed our stay at Seth’s cabin. We felt very welcome upon arrival and it was the perfect secluded and relaxing place to call home settled among the mountains while also being so close to shops, restaurants and grocery In the adorable town of Black Mountain as well. We looked forward to soaking in the hot tub each night, watching VHS movies (they have an amazing collection) by the fire and cooking in the kitchen while listening to records. Even had s’mores by the outdoor fire pit! I’m confident you’ll love this cabin as much as we did! We can’t wait to return
Absolutely love the property! Everything was as pictured! Beautiful views, secluded/private, clean and comfortable. Hot tub was amazing We will be booking again.
Cabin just as described. No surprise neighboring rental cabins, this place is located in a private residential area and above neighbor homes for views over those rooftops. At this time of year, full tree canopies offered privacy and only small glimpses of other homes. The hot tub is on the open side porch but with a roof - a great place to relax with a mountain view, even in the rain. The screened porch off the living room is also lovely with a wooded view and all the sounds of nature. I chose to sleep here one night for a nature experience without bugs or laying on the ground. Overall a great place for our family to spend a couple nights in Black Mountain NC.
What a fantastic, unique cabin about a mile from downtown Black Mountain. we had such a nice time and really hope we can return to further explore this area. The cabin had everything we could want and Seth made us feel very welcomed!
There is not enough I could stay about the wonderful stay here. The cabin was perfect for the weekend and so cozy. The energy of the place was so inviting and calming and welcoming. The hosts were so kind and responsive and immediately handled any issues or questions I had. Would definitely stay here again the future. It is such a special place with the best hosts I have ever had during a stay.
A hidden magical gem in town! A piece of old Appalachia lives in this beautifully cared for cabin from the past. Step back in time in the 1940s cabin with modern features. Waking up to the sun rising from behind the impressive mountains is an outstanding way to start the day. The cabin was supplied with everything you could possibly need.
We enjoyed listening to vinyl on the turn table and reading. We even had an option to watch a movie with a fire. Most of our time was spent sitting on the enclosed porch listening to the wild life and taking in the views of the property. This is a must stay place!
It was wonderful from the time me and the wife got there. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed how close it was to the town and the beautiful scenery around the cabin. Definitely a place to go to see and visit if you want that perfect getaway.
