Relax under a secluded trellis w/ outdoor sun curtains or one of our many outdoor seating areas throughout the fully landscaped property. Soak in the warm Sonoma sun on double wide reclining sunbeds!
• Please note, Sonoma County Ordinance requires fire pits to be extinguished by 10pm at all vacation rentals and NO open flames whatsoever if its windy out or "red flag warnings" have been issued.

Charming Wine Country Cottage

This property is adorable! We loved the charming rustic vibes of the house and the outdoor spaces. Perfect house for a friends get away. Morgan the Donkey was an added bonus and quickly became one of our favorite parts of our trip.

Best of both worlds location

Casa Vina is perfectly situated for those who want to enjoy the best of both wine-country worlds. When you are at the casa, it feels like you’re in a rural sanctuary “far from the madding crowd.” Yet the bustling Sonoma Square is just a few minutes away by car. This charming farmhouse is in such a bucolic setting and is so cozy and peaceful and fully appointed that you almost don’t want to leave to visit the marvelous wineries that draw people from everywhere to the area. The good news is that all the delights of both Sonoma and Napa are easily accessible. You can enjoy them during the day and come “home” to relax in comfort, either outdoors or in, during the evenings. What more could one want? The little casa is as pictured and described, clean, artfully decorated, and comfortable. Denise was lovely to work with and a good time was had by all of us who stayed in her “happy place.”

Beautiful Home

Awesome property! Home is amazingly decorated, super cute retro kitchen, every amenity that you might need is there. Comprehensive catalog for anything you may or want to do in the area, dining, shopping, bike riding wine tours with trails and wineries in the area. Denise, a great hostess and property manager. Would highly recommend. The only thing I would just want to point out, that the 2nd bathroom (beautiful and updated) is in an unattached building from the home. No heat in that room that we could find, and only 11 minutes of hot water, so during winter months was unusable for our family from San Diego and not used to really cold toilet seats! We are looking forward to booking again in summer or fall to take full advantage of the outdoor property.

The property is gorgeous! A group of 5 adults stayed comfortably in this spacious, well Layed out and decorated home. This home is Centrally located and easy to navigate to and from. We would return to Casa Vina.

50th birthday celebration

The property is even better than the write up and the reviews. From the time you pull up to the time you leave It’s fantastic. My wife was blown away. The beds are comfortable and the home is extremely clean and the bikes are great. It’s a short easy ride into town. The fire pit made the nights comfortable and Morgan the donkey was the best. The restaurants are all great. Especially Wit and Wisdom. Swiss hotel, Della Santina, Red Grape and Hop Monk. Denise was extremely helpful with providing information all around. The resources were helpful. I found a host to set up tasting and to take us to the vineyards. Well worth the money. We will certainly be back. Thank you Denise!

Great getaway!

This was a fantastic property with all you could need for a wine country getaway! Denise was great to deal with and the home was as advertised. The location was great and there were lots of notes/instructions throughout the house to help during the stay. We enjoyed it immensely.

Charming Cottage Retreat

Casa Vina was a wonderfully peaceful place to stay while visiting Wine Country. My husband and I spent 5 nights there with close friends. The owners have thought of everything to accommodate guests. There are several areas to sit and relax while enjoying the surrounding scenery. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals and the bath has super soft towels. We especially enjoyed the front porch table, fire pit, and sound bar in the living room. We all appreciated the notes/labels as reminders while staying in such a clean and lovely home. Of course, we all enjoyed visiting Morgan, the donkey next door.

Best Girls Trip location

This beautiful home was the perfect location for our Sonoma girls trip for 6 of us. Our first impression driving up was wow, prettier in person! We loved this well appointed home having everything we needed. We enjoyed the very comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, slippers and robes for everyone, fireplace blankets, coffee and even a welcome bottle of bubbly with a sweet note. The house notes and book in kitchen to answer any questions was very helpful. Denise was the perfect host, quick to reply and always so personable which made us all feel welcome. She sent us an extensive list of things to do and the several we did were fun! The bike wine tour(without bikes), short but pretty Sonoma Overlook trail and fun Sonoma Wine Shop wine tasting were all perfect. Feeding Morgan, the neighbors friendly donkey, carrots each day was super fun! Don’t miss doing that. It was nice to have 6 comfy chairs around the fire pit to sit in the evening and chat We all talked about how great it would be in warmer weather as there were so many outside sitting areas, horseshoes, games, outdoor dining table and amazing views all around. We didn’t use any as it was so cold but were impressed with everything available to us. We never used the bikes but that would have been perfect as they have 6 of them. We wish we could have stayed longer. We would highly recommend staying here.

THE MOST AMAZING VINEYARD RETREAT!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this house. I would live in it full time if I could! It is nestled between beautiful vineyards, and only 9 minutes from the Sonoma Plaza. We had three couples in our party, and it was very comfortable. The indoor space is cozy, and the outdoor seating areas are what Sonoma dreams are made of. The owner was wonderful. We will book again!

This property was fantastic! Location was quiet yet 10 minutes from Sonoma Plaza. The house is cozy and decorated beautifully but the outdoor living spaces are really the star. Highly recommend this home.

Perfect Place!

Beautiful and relaxing!

I stayed there with my 3 adult daughters, and all of us felt this was a close second to staying in our own home. It was very relaxing and peaceful, as well as perfectly place in Sonoma.

Wonderful home base in wine country!

Really nice place to stay, exactly what come to mind when going to wine country. The fire pit, feeding the donkey next door, and all of the little personal touches of the house made this a really memorable place to stay. You won’t be disappointed!

The directions & checkin were flawless. The home is extremely well appointed and maintained. The rooms are spacious with big beds. The property is lovely, as is the neighborhood. Heaven on Earth

This house was so wonderful and so perfect, it was very hard to leave when our time was up. It’s incredibly comfortable and convenient to everything. The setting is gorgeous; we felt as though we might have been in Provence or Umbria! Hoping for a return visit someday soon.

The Perfect Sonoma Experience

This stay was nothing short of amazing! The views, vineyard, house, and location was impeccable. Furthermore, Denise is extremely responsive and communicative and provided the most clear, accurate instructions and details that made everything a breeze. The short distance to downtown Sonoma was great, but still have plenty of privacy and peace. We will certainly be returning!!

Why they chose this property

We chose this property because of its location. We're located just a couple miles from the historic Sonoma Plaza with dozens of wineries within a 10 mile radius. Many within walking or biking distance. Situated right in the middle of wine country.

What makes this property unique

Sonoma is known for it's laid back atmosphere. A few of our favorite things to do are riding the cruiser bikes around the countryside and into town, and watching the sunset from our outdoor dining table, with beautiful views of the rolling hills lined by the vineyards that surround us. Every season in Sonoma is so uniquely beautiful but Fall is our favorite... miles of vibrantly, colorful vineyards stretching over rolling hills as far as your eye can see. Simply gorgeous and truly breathtaking!
