The Joseph Trumbull house is located in the old center of Norwich, known as Norwichtown. Centrally located near many attractions. Just 10 minutes from Mohegan, 20 minutes from Foxwoods Casino, 30 minutes away from Old Mystic.

***This listing is the second unit of our home and due to its historic features, is NOT suitable for children or infants***

Formerly a single family home, this beautiful New England colonial was converted into a multi family home with each floor having its own unit. The rental includes the entire upstairs unit with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, sleeper sofa, eat in kitchen, dining room, office, and balcony use! Guests have their own private entrance via the balcony.

Enjoy the character that has remained in this home since the 1700s, and all of the history behind it! Views of Samuel Huntington's mansion can be seen from the office and the balcony. You will also notice the Old Norwichtown Cemetery, from the late 1600s, behind the property. There are paths to walk through the cemetery that lead to the Lawthorpe Meadow Preserve, a wonderfully kept meadow with walking trails to enjoy!

Stay and enjoy this property and all that surrounds it. Beautiful place to be all year round. Please treat our home with respect, just as we would yours!

Amazing 1 night stay

My mother and I were looking for a place to stay close to Mohegan Sun. Her alma mater was playing in a basketball game at the arena and she was meeting up with some alumni friends. I was able to find us this rental and it checked off all the boxes. It was clean, easy to navigate, the owners were extremely communicative, and it was so comfortable. We loved it so much that we are planning on staying again, hopefully sometime next summer! Thank you Tom and Kayleigh for this wonderful experience!

This was indeed a cozy place, a pleasant and quiet retreat while helping a friend tend to the business of clearing a storage unit of family artifacts. The owners were very helpful, and the area was so green and quiet, yet very easy to get to the more active tourist areas. Very glad we chose this place over a motel.

We came down for my nieces graduation from NFA and the location was perfect, lodging was excellent and comfortable. The only negative was that there were no curtains in the bedroom so when the sun rose at 430 am so did we.

Navy boy visit

My father and I took an extended weekend to visit Dylan who is stationed near by during my birthday. We lost our mother last month and we needed a little get away and the Trumbull house fit the bill. Easy communication with host and the house was neat with all its history. We walked the local cemetary. Quick drives to local restaurants.

70th Birthday Celebration weekend

Our Mom was turning 70 and we wanted to surprise her with a night away to Mohegan Sun. Comedy show, dinner and gambling. This house and location were easy to get to and close to our celebration location destination. We very much enjoyed the unique experience of this historic house. We met the owners as we were leaving. Super nice! They had all the cute touches you would think of for a house like this. Communication responses were quick. We highly recommend this location! And Mom was SURPRISED! Mission accomplished!

Great space and location

Wonderful space with large rooms and anything you could need from the kitchen to the bathroom. It was very clean and the perfect space for the 5 of us adults. Would definitely stay again!
