I have lived in Taylor County my entire life. My husband and I moved to Steinhatchee over 3 years ago after fishing and hunting this area since I can remember. We love the ability to freshwater and saltwater fish and especially scalloping. My kids and grandkids have grown up on the water just as I did and can't think of a better place to call home.

What makes this property unique
Kastaway Cottage is one of over 20 properties I manage in Steinhatchee and the Keaton Beach area. Being situated on the freshwater Steinhatchee River with access to the gulf gives you the best of both worlds. This home has a boat slip that comes with the rental of the home at no additional charge. Put your boat in at the public boat ramp and forget about fighting the crowds every day to load and unload. Once your trip comes to an end, load it up and head home. We have plenty of parking for extra vehicles and trailers so bring the whole family. Just one block from SeaHag Marina gives you options to buy bait and fuel without driving across town.
This home has the dock space for perfect views of the bridge and all the fireworks shows we have throughout the year.
