About this property

A stay like no other—inside an iconic steel sculpture with panoramic canyon and lake views.

Perched above Lake Ransom Canyon, the Robert Bruno Steel House is a sculptural marvel offering a rare chance to stay inside a work of art.

With panoramic views, a full kitchen, laundry facilities, and spacious living areas, comfort meets creativity. Wake up to a breathtaking sunrise on the balcony, then unwind in the evening as golden-hour light floods through the home’s expansive windows and stained glass walls.

More than a stay, this is art, nature, and design in perfect harmony.

The Robert Bruno Steel House has been opened for those who truly want to experience it for themselves. We do not allow any photography or videography of any kind that isn't strictly for personal use. Drones are also not allowed on the property for safety and wildlife preservation. There are currently two Great Horned Owls that visit regularly, as well as deer and other wildlife.

Bucket list Birthday

We stayed one night just to experience the grandeur of the place! It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and was very neat and clean. It had all the amenities and was truly a great experience! Highly recommend it for a one of a kind VRBO!

Incredibly amazing!!!

We had a really nice stay. Every square inch of the property is museum-quality-finished and beautiful; every nook and cranny represents hours of man-power. Each detail was planned out, tasteful, congruent. “Unique” doesn’t capture how incredible the structure is. It has to be one of the most remarkable places to rent in the US. It was also comfortable for a late-night movie, hot cider and coffee, and a good night’s sleep— even with 60 mph winds. We loved it!

Family fun

We stayed at the steel house with our 2 teenage kids for a wedding weekend. The communication & customer service from Blake was excellent! There were some software issues when booking & Blake worked with me to get it handled promptly. He even called me direct & patiently walked me through fixing the software issue. The house was awesome! Everything was comfortable and the views were spectacular. The house is so unique and spaces were used so creatively. We hope to return again and check out the surrounding area more!
