Property
A Beautiful 2200 square foot three bed/bath home with bonus room above garage with polished concrete floors and open concept in a quiet, secluded area. On the first floor, we have a Large Kitchen with Breakfast Bar. The Kitchen is equipped with a large fridge with an ice maker, dishwasher, glass top stove with convection oven, microwave, and all pots, pans, plates, silverware, dishes and glasses etc. needed for 9 or more to prepare great meals and enjoy family and friend time. Air conditioning unit is present and central.

The Kitchen is open to the large dining and living areas with 18 foot ceilings. The Breakfast bar and dining table have plenty of room to host 11 comfortably. Dining area has propane stove with oak mantle. Living area is equipped with wood stove/wood supplied. The living rooms has a 50inch flat screen tv, and the dining area has a 43inch flat screen; both are set up with chromecast. The walk out deck leading to the hottub is reached through the deck doors between the dining and living area.

The Washer and Dryer are located on the first floor along with a toilet, sink, and a cabinet filled with hot tub towels, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets. The first floor Master Bedroom has a king sized bed, an ensuite with a five foot sit down shower, large flat screen TV, and ceiling fan.

Leading up from the first floor is an impressive oak stair casing with banister. Bedroom number two is located on the second floor with a King Bed and ceiling fan. The third bedroom has a Queen Bed and a Twin Bed with a ceiling fan. The bonus room has a large sectional couch, pull out couch, 43 inch flat screen TV, ceiling fan, and small party piano. There are numerous books, a wii with 5 controllers and games, and boardgames also available. Each room is accommodated with bedside fans and lamps, and extra blankets are provided in dressers in each room. The full bathroom on the second floor has tub shower combination, sink, and toilet.

The first floor deck doors open up to a large stone patio wrapping around to the front entry. The main deck has a large hot tub with lots of flowers on the property. The back deck area is equipped with a large stainless steel barbeque. Private Beach volleyball court on property as well as a basketball net.

Excellent Family Holiday

The property was better than expected and the hosts were lovely. My kids and 4 grandchildren didn't want the week to end. PEI is beautiful and this home is in a convenient central location.

Wonderful property, location

We recently booked this property for a multi-generational family vacation. This home was the perfect size for the grandparents, grandkids, and everyone in between to be together and yet have space to spread out without being on top of each other. The home has everything you could ever need, is a short drive from major tourist attractions, and offers a beautiful setting to rest and reset. Gina was a lovely host and quick to respond to all communication. We would book this home again in a heartbeat!

Excellent stay at wonderful property!

We had a great stay! Morley and Gina were so helpful and accommodating. The house is spacious and extremely clean, the property is very private and well kept, and the location is close to Charlottetown and many amenities. We would absolutely recommend this home for your next PEI vacation!

Home away from home

We stayed here for a week at the end of June, three families each with a baby/toddler, and we had a wonderful stay. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable on our trip. We were able to stay in on rainy days and not feel crowded, and were close enough to parks, and Charlottetown to take day trips on nice days easily with small children. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks Morley and Gina for your hospitality.

Perfect

The property was perfect for our family to come back and enjoy the Island. Our family is originally from PEI so we like to come back yearly when we can to visit our many relatives and see the splendor of PEI. We could not have chosen a better property that was located close to Charlottetown. The bedrooms were perfect size, the beds were sooooo comfortable. The kitchen was beautiful. Our hosts were so nice to us, we felt like we were home. Any questions we had they got back to us ASAP. We would love to go back again next year. Can only give this property 100 out of 10! 7 minutes from Hillcrest

We came for disc golf nationals and the location of the property was ideally located super close to hillcrest and almost centered between huck it and kings pine. Couldn’t ask for a better location - and the property itself was great. Nice big yard, hot tub was great for post round relaxation. Only downside is that the noise carries through the house quite a bit due to the A-frame style. Overall not bad at all but the guests upstairs did say it was a little loud with people talking in the main living area. Would definitely stay again!

Super clean and close to EVERYTHING!

Morley and Gina were great hosts of this property. They have the cottage spotless on your arrival and fully equipped for a great relaxing time. The location is amazing for day tripping out of as it’s so close to everything. And should you forget something in town, the corner store has you covered. Amazing house

We had an amazing stay at this house. It was very clean with lots of space and rooms. The host got back to us quickly and we’re very accommodating. We had two kids a 4 and 1 YO and the house was well equipped with toys and beds for them. It’s close to Charlottetown and several red sand beaches. The hot tub was a welcome bonus even in the summer! We really enjoyed our stay.

Great for the family

This was our first time visiting PEI and we wanted to pick a location that would be centrally located allowing for day trips out to the other parts of the island. The house sits back off the road and is beautiful with lots of room for the kids to play. Basketball, volleyball, playset, hot tub, or just lounging around outside are all available. Communication was always prompt and check in easy. The only disappointment was Air Canada canceled our flight so we arrived a day late and only got to spend 6 days there instead of 7.

Very Nice Property

Great Property - Beautiful Setting - Wonderful Location - Gracious Hosts Few hiccups but owners were quit to respond - great communication. Bonus room sleeping left a little to be desired. Expectations for guest conduct and property care very well communicated in Check in material. Overall a comfortable place to be. Within striking distance of many of PEI's attractions.

Perfect island retreat

This beautiful home has all the amenities required for your stay on PEI and Gina and Morley were perfect hosts. We chose this property for our vacation because my husband and I were traveling with our daughter, son in law and 2 grandchildren. This house had more then enough room to accommodate us and allowed us to entertain family and friends we haven’t seen in over 2 years due to Covid. The property is private and surrounded by trees yet close enough to Charlottetown and other tourist spots. Morley kept in touch and was always available to answer any questions we had. This was the perfect vacation! Thank you Morley and Gina!

Peaceful and serene

My husband and I along with our two furry kids spent two weeks in this beautiful home. The setting is beautiful and you have totally privacy. The house is extremely well equipped with everything you will need for a wonderful vacation. The store at the end of the road has the most amazing meats ! Gina & Morley left detailed notes and recommendations to help make the very most of our stay. A wonder home to stay in !

Lovely stay on PEI

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is well cared for and has everything you could possibly need. Hottub is a huge plus, after walking around sightseeing, its a nice way to relax each night.

Difficult owners

So to say that they made our stay uncomfortable was an understatement. After 2 days into our rental there was a problem with the hot tub , which was the main reason why we rented this house instead of the cottages that we have rented in Cavendish for the last 8 years in a row. After our second day of 4 young men using the hot tub I sent Gina an email letting her know that something was up with the hot tub. It was very cloudy and we didn’t know what we were supposed to do. Here husband came out the next day emptied the tub and tried to figure out what went wrong. I received a nasty email from Gina the following day that we were not to use the hot tub since it has never been in this condition ever and if I had not email them we would of probably been responsible for replacing the hot tub due to negligence. This we are having to pay for 2 new filters and the refilling of the water. I said I would like to speak to her husband in person and would meet him the following day. After we spoke he told me that he took the filters out flushed them and then didn’t understand why the water was not clear when he was in front of me as we discussed what happened . He then said that he flushed out the tub and there was all sorts of algee in the lines. So it was the filters since they were old were not doing their job. I reluctantly agreed to split the cost of 2 new filters even though I should not have as the problem was not the people in the tub but rather the people owning the tub and not maintaining it properly. He said he eould be out the next day with 2 new filters. So you can’t use the hot tub for another 2 days. The next day he replaced the filters with new ones and then the following day the tub was crystal clear with 6 hours of continued use when checked the next morning. I was not aware of a toilet seat being broken and would have no issue on paying if that was needing replacing . We had a lobster night one day and a fish fry after deep sea fishing. We were charged for cleaning or deodorizing of the drapes etc because of the oder. No exhaust hood or anyway of getting the orders out of the house other than keeping the windows open. Our trip after this ordeal has been really disappointing . We though it would be nice to be closer to Charlotown to see something different this year but after dealing with such a micro managed rental we will never rent this place again. Very disappointed!!!!!!!

Wonderful relaxing stay

This property is probably one of the best that we have stayed at. The location is central to most of the places we wanted to see. The home was clean, inviting, and well supplied with board games, outdoor games, hot tub, and digital entertainment options. The owners are very easy to contact and available to help or ask questions. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for a fantastic visit!

This property exceeded expectations, we had a great trip to PEI

Perfectly set up, this property is great for a group of friends like us or a large family. Location was ideal, centrally located. Corner store at the end of the road was a bonus and really close to Cornwall. Hot Tub was nice to have, If you plan on being active while visiting the island this place is ideal.

We are 100% Island bred and born. My husband and I have a grown son who is engages, a married daughter who has provided us with our first grand child, and we now spend our summers in our small cottage, inherited by family.

Why they chose this property

My husband hand picked this lot; he saw the amazing potential it had for a wonderful, hidden, family home. We designed and built this very home and tailored it to the lot. We love our home and the privacy it offers us year round. Being surrounded by trees gives the feeling of privacy and relaxation, all the while we are only 10 minutes to Charlottetown.

What makes this property unique

It is hard to believe we have neighbours all in front of us, because when we sit in the hot tub and listen to the birds chirp, it feels like we are in our very own, private getaway.
