We didn’t get to stay because of the hurricane that went through last weekend. It flooded the place we were to stay. Hopefully I will get my money back soon.
It was very clean well equipped and convenient and we loved the creek

Cabin in Maggie Valley NC
We were disappointed with the cabin overall. No central air conditioning so it was warm in the bedroom and bathroom. We kept tripping over a piece of loose molding in the kitchen area. There was no dinette set for eating so we had to use the coffee table as our dinette. There was an odor throughout the house. The only good point of the cabin was the close location to the festival grounds. That being said the road leading to the cabin was full of potholes and the yard definitely needed so lawn care.
Went trout fishing with 3 other family members. Enjoyed staying at this cabin for one night. Little dated but was pretty clean. This was perfect for what we needed. Heat wasn’t an issue as they had smaller heaters if needed. Good back yard and enjoyed listening to the creek. We also built a fire that night in the fire pit. Really quiet at night which was great. Would stay her again.
There was only one other review available online for us to view when we stayed. If you are expecting a fancy cabin with fancy modern technology, this is NOT the cabin for you. My Husband and I are simple people, and it was just fine for us. The bed was very comfortable, and everything was clean. The Host provides anything that you could possibly need for your stay, except for your groceries. Very thoughtful. We were plenty warm with the split unit from the living room. I can see where the back room would probably be cold, but could easily be remedied with installation of a ceiling split unit. The driveway could use some smoothing out, but all in all we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Cabin
The pictures matched the Cabin however it was not what we expected for the price. The cabin could have used some upgrades. The doors had cold air coming through extremely bad. And the back bedroom was so cold we couldn’t have even used the room. However with it being so cold and the unit would blow cold air the host was extremely good on bringing us two more small units we used to heat the kitchen and living room area. Was not able to heat the bathroom so this was a bad experience. The portable heater would throw the beaker in the bathroom so you could imagine how cold it was getting out of the shower. I don’t like bugs so after sitting on the couch and a spider started crawling on me I about lost it. We normally pull our camper because of places like this. However due to possible snow we thought it would be nice to rent a cabin. we would not stay here again. But again as far as our she was great and offered any help if we needed just felt like there was nothing she could have dine for some if this.
