We came for the Seldovia Fly-In and this adorable cabin was only 0.5 mile from the airport. It is close to town and walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Peaceful at night, perfect deck for 2 to sit and have dinner. Loved the mermaid decor and everything about it. Bed was very comfortable and sheets were so soft. Would definitely stay there again.
Seldovia cannot be real. Just an impossibly charming small cabin in an impossibly charming small town. My wife and I were thrilled, and would absolutely stay here again. We literally watched an otter swim back and forth from our dining room table.
Super cute and quaint cabin with a beautiful water view. Just a few minutes walk from town.

Beautiful Place
The place was very clean with amazing views! I enjoyed sitting on the couch looking through the floor to ceiling windows, seeing and hearing eagles and otters float by for hours. We would like to stay there again if possible.
We have been staying in this cabin for years. It is literally our favorite spot in Alaska. We come to sit and watch the tide go in and out while getting away from it all. A short walk into town for a cocktail or a stroll on the Otterbahn is a big day for us.
This year’s trip was made even better by Haley working some magic to solve a camera issue we had. Thanks, Haley!!
Pro tip: we stock up at Safeway in Homer before getting on the ferry for breakfast/lunch items that can be managed with the mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven in the cabin.
This was a real find for us and we will definitely be back—has everything you need and a gorgeous view to top it all off. Super clean and Haley was extremely helpful—we had a grill issue which turned out to be more user-error than anything but she was super cool about it and offered us alternatives.
Like another reviewer suggested, if you buy some groceries before you come it makes it easier—we had a lot of luggage (two coolers, fishing gear, backpacks) and while it took two trips, we managed to just walk it from the ferry. My husband was even offered a ride by a local. Everyone waves and smiles at you. Magical spot. We had a blast and my son caught fish off the deck every chance he could get—caught some pretty nice long nose suckers. It’s great for a couple or a small family with an older kid.
