Modern cabin in serene setting
Experience the best of the Texas Hill Country in style! Spirit of the Hawk is a beautiful, modern, extremely comfortable guesthouse on a 26-acre property. It’s the perfect place for a quiet, secluded getaway surrounded by nature, where you can also enjoy the gorgeous design and thoughtful touches personally curated by the husband-and-wife team who renovated this special building. The property is 8 miles from the Wimberley Square, where the building used to reside as an antique and home furnishings shop, “The Spirit of the Hawk.” The shop owner poured her heart and soul into the build and used as much reclaimed material as possible. In that spirit, though the home has been fully gutted and remodeled, any original material that could be reused or repurposed was, which is reflected in the charming, rustic exterior and details like the stunning stained-glass window and original shop sign.
You’re a quick, easy drive to several attractions—wineries, breweries, restaurants, shops—but you may find it tough to pull yourself away from the property, which has a private gated entrance and offers just that: total privacy.
The space
Inside, relish the comforts of the king bed and spacious, bright open living area and fully stocked, fabulous kitchen with high ceilings and windows providing views of the surrounding woods. Outside, relax with a cup of coffee or glass of wine on the lovely porch with comfy furnishings. The porch looks out onto a wet weather pond that draws in deer and other wildlife.
Guest access
26 acres shared with the owners’ home, which is behind another privacy gate on a totally separate part of the property. Plenty of space and privacy to soak up nature. Chris and Kayla take great pride in creating a relaxed and peaceful, classy stay, away from the hustle and bustle.
