About this property

Cabin Retreat Facing A Creek On 30 Acres

Located 50 feet up from Fordum Creek in Friendship, WI on 30 acres in the North Woods. You won't see any neighbors, but you will see brown trout, deer, turkeys and 22 species of trees & etc. Walking trails throughout the property enhance the cabin retreat experience. Outdoor fire pit, charcoal grill. Car port available for parking. 5 miles from the town Adams/Friendship.

500 square foot cottage, completely furnished, 2 bed (one with twin beds, one with bunk beds), linens provided, 1 bath with hot shower. Heated with a wood stove, or space heaters, air conditioned, complete kitchen with all dishes, pots, pans, crock pot, nesco, electric fry pan, toaster, hot plate, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, small refrigerator, DVD and VHS player. Outdoor patio area with charcoal grill, fire pit.
Check in time is @ 2:00 pm and check out is @ noon.

With prior notice and permission, cats and well-behaved dogs are welcome. When outside of the cabin, dogs must be leashed and under your control at all times. Pets left unattended in the cabin must be in owner supplied crates. No Hunting is allowed on the property. Rates are for 2 guests, additional guest fees apply. Check in is @ 2:00 pm, check out is @ noon.

We are licensed by Adams County and have a Wood County health permit.

Simple solitude in the woods

Our favorite getaway

We have stayed at this property with our two dogs several times, in every season. It's so lovely to use the wood stove in winter on those chilly nights.

Wonderful Woods Retreat

Our family had a wonderful stay at the little cabin in the woods. The cabin was clean and well appointed. The woodstove made the cabin very warm and cozy, even during the cold nights. We walked on the trails along the creek and throughout the property each day and built a nice fire in the firepit in the evening. The proximity to Roche-A-Cri State Park made for an easy First Day Hike on New Year's Day as well. Everything about our stay was wonderful, I would highly recommend this cabin if you're looking for a quiet retreat.

Its R & R time

The property is a beautiful wooded piece of heaven with a stream that says paradise and relaxation for the soul are at your feet. Wildlife abound, the sound of owls echoing thru the stillness, and the feeling that all is well subdues your mind.

Hiking weekend

Hiking the Ice Age Trail in the area. Cabin was rustic but had all that we needed. Robert and Linda very responsive and accommodating . Had a lovely time

Best honeymoon hideaway

If you are looking to tuck away in the middle of the the woods this is it. Clean , simple but cozy , Most relaxing , quiet 2 night stay we have ever had or needed. We will be making this a return trip for sure.

The cabin and views were everything we were looking for to enjoy a nice quiet weekend away. Close to Roche-A-Cri State park, which also great hiking trails and views. My dog even had great time. Linda and Robert were very friendly hosts.

Back in the woods, peaceful, air conditioned for extra hot days, great place to explore with your dogs. Short drive to the Dells for a day out, and adams-friendship has plenty of small town friendliness for a night out. Best of both worlds. Love

It was so nice to talk to Bob and the property was great just nature what we needed. Our 2 dogs loved it. Any issues Bob came right over. Just wish there was a screen door or window to open in the kitchen/livingroom. Wish we could stay longer. We will try to stay there again. John and Robin

Our favorite getaway

This was our third stay in the past year. Living in a crowded urban area, we often crave the peace, quiet, and simplicity of a cabin in the woods. Every time we visit, we fall in love with it a little bit more. I wish I could get such restful sleep at home! Our dogs love it there too. The owner also has a wood mill, and we bought two rounds of gorgeous wood for some future projects of our own at home. As always, we are already looking forward to our next visit!

Quiet getaway

Quiet, lovely little place on a creek with walking trails and a short distance from a state park. Saw turkey, deer, lots of birds and heard partridge drumming.
