Location was excellent. Very comfortable, was not prepared for the lack of wifi as im getting older its nice to view trail reports on a lap top and not a phone. But thats my personal preference.
We had a great stay at the cabin! It was so welcoming, especially with the welcome basket. Communication was smooth and fast. The rooms and beds are cozy. We definitely plan on coming back again!
Perfect cabin that is stocked for fun with games, supplies and activities! Beautiful property with a pond and surrounded by nature. Nice area around it. If you are coming to this area, stay here for sure!
We enjoyed spending time inside the clean, well stocked cabin with a breathtaking view. Exploring the property is a treat, though it's not clear where the property boundaries are, so use caution. The hosts are accommodating, generous and communicative. You'll feel safest with 4wd in the winter for the drive up. I'd love to stay again in the future. I bet the summer is just as fun!
The cottage was beautiful. The pond was great. It gave a place for my daughter to try out kayaking for the first time. The view was great. A wonderful place to kick back and relax after a busy day in the White Mountains. I would definitely recommend this place.
The owner is very responsive and overly helpful. The cabin was just as shown on photos. Sticked from top to bottom if you forget anything it is there. I cannot say anything bad about our time at the cabin. My husband, children and I had a absolutely wonderful time and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for a terrific stay.
I can speak highly enough of this house and property. It wasn’t just that it was clean and beautiful. The host left us champagne and cheese. There was extra food and there was such care and attention to detail. We absolutely loved it!
Our family loved staying at the cabin for the weekend. Jennifer was a great host. She responded to any questions we had very quickly, provided a detailed welcome book, and welcome basket for our family. The cabin is private, peaceful and is stocked with everything you could need from kitchen amenities to games/movies for the kids. It’s a short ride to the town of Lancaster and was less than thirty minutes to Santa’s Village. We look forward to booking the cabin again in the future.
Guys snowmobile trip for (6) friend's went great. Beautiful home and property. Excellent communication throughout the process; and Jennifer made us home made chili! Perfect getaway at a great place. Thank you!!
This home was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin is impeccably clean and cozy. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The only improvement that I would suggest would be a water filtration system. Although we were supplied with plenty of bottled water for drinking and cooking, there is an odor to the well water that is unpleasant for showering. The million dollar view from the deck made up for it though!
We (5 people total) stayed here to watch the solar eclipse in April. It was such a a great location. The deck and yard are very spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few simple meals. The host Jennifer left a lovely gift basket for us! She also let us check in early which was convenient. Would recommend this cabin to others.
Amazing cabin for our family getaway for the winter. One of our most memorable northeast trip!!!
Jennifer was an amazing host. Our communication from the beginning to the end was seamless. There was always an open line of communication either through Vbro or phone. We appreciated the lovely Christmas card and holiday champagne :) The cabin is situated in a quiet and remote location with fantastic views of the mountains. Our family couldn’t have asked for anything better. The cabin appeared to be relatively new and very well maintain. This place could definitely house a larger family with plenty of comfort within the house. I appreciated the fine details that went into the house design. This house was equipped with everything needed to cook a delicious meal for the family. Overall, we had everything needed to make our stay comfortable. This house also sits on several acres of land, so it’s perfect for hiking, snowmobiling, or just a fun time by the pond. Although, it is winter we can picture This being the perfect spring or summertime spot! Thank you again Jennifer!!!!!
This cabin is warm, cozy, and well stocked with cooking supplies, toiletries, and games; you really don't have to leave the property if you don’t want to. We truly enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the couch in front of the wood burning stove, with mountain views and sunlight pouring in through the A frame windows. The property is large and very private, with lots of space for outdoor activities. We had no issues with cell service and came prepared with DVDs for the living room TV. We planned on exploring the area, but were so comfortable in the cabin that we didn’t end up leaving, we definitely plan on coming back and highly recommend you do the same!
This beautful spacious cabin was absolutely amazing. We had a perfect memorial day weeknd there. Theres a private pond on the property that we enjoyed kayaking and catching frogs on with my newfew.
We loved looking at the mountain view from thier wrap around deck viewing moutains under the stars was quite peaceful.
The host was extemely generous prividing us with snacks and water. The kitchin area had all the kitchen appliances and necessities anyone would need. Extremely clean and well maintained house and property.
Down the street was a huge lake up a moutain, Christine lake ,where we were able to spend the day with family we met up with there swimming and picnicing.
All and all it was the perfect getaway and we will definitly be looking forward to renting there again.
The property was very private with breath taking views of the white mountains. The cabin was very spacious and beautiful. Wood was provided for the wood burning stove and there was a charcoal grill on the deck . Shovels and salt were also available. The owners communicated with us constantly to make sure we arrived and made it in ok. It was also my birthday weekend and they had put out a birthday basket and banner as a very nice gesture. They had plenty of games to play and a tv in the living room with a iPhone mirroring cable so tv could be streamed from a device. There was no WiFi but honestly we didn’t need it anyway! We had such a good time we only used the tv once.Check out time was 11:00 but the owners didn’t rush us right out and we’re flexible the whole time. We will definitely book again.
