About this property

Wash Park / DU Studio with Private Entry - includes bikes, walkable to transit

Garden-Level studio near Wash Park, Gaylord St, Pearl St, and the University of Denver. You’ll love its urban chic decor with exposed brick and beams. The unit is perfect for a couple, DU parents visiting the kids, or solo travelers. Private Entry with kitchenette, 3/4 bath, 2 bikes, king bed, & queen sofa sleeper. Explore historic neighborhood shops and restaurants, or stay in for movie night on the large flatscreen with Apple TV. ALL are welcome here.

The Space - the house was built in 1922 and has been fully remodeled to blend historic charm and modern comforts. The studio features exposed original brick, a comfortable common area, an electric fireplace, and a record player with an assortment of new and old vinyls.

Kitchenette is comprised of coffee maker, hot plate, toaster oven, mini fridge, microwave, and all the necessary appurtenances.

Two city-bikes are included (along with locks and helmets).

You will have your own entry on the side of the house, so you can feel free to come and go as you please. Easy check-in as the door has its own pin-pad.

Please note:
- The ceilings are 6’4” in some areas, for those of you that are taller, this could be a challenge for you.
- This is an older home, and to create as much overhead space as possible, the ceilings are not insulated. This means that there is some opportunity for noise to travel between floors. We do our very best to keep our shows off and tread lightly, however you may hear our or our dog’s pitter patter from time to time. Naturally, we keep it down during quiet hours (10p-7a).

What a gem of a stay!

This VRBO is awesome! Super clean, very cozy and located at a perfect part of town to get anywhere you need to go. Stayed here 9 nights and loved every second. Hope I can come back next year!

DU grad trip

We really enjoyed our stay here. Access to both our sons' homes, DU and Wash park was fantastic for us. The bikes were a bonus and we used them a lot. We were warned that we'd hear movement and the dogs upstairs so we weren't surprised but sometimes it was a bit noisier than expected. Regardless we would for sure stay here again when visiting our kids.

Short Long Weekend visiting Family

We came into town for a short long weekend...wish we could have stayed even longer! This basement apartment was awesome–cute and comfy! The space was welcoming and our hosts, Kyle & Brittany were quick to respond and accommodate when we had to reach out. The king-sized bed was a score, and actually comfortable! We were within walking distance to a few of our favorite restaurants and getting downtown was super easy. We loved hearing the little pitter-patter of their fur-babies upstairs...not loud, just little taps that we could relate to. The room was clean and had all kinds of extras if we needed anything. It was clear that our hosts put some thought into what their guests might need during their stay. Highly recommend; we'd for certain stay here again! Thanks K&B!
