Nice roomy living room, host very quick to answer any questions or concerns we had. There are steps to get to the house.Very close to the "Bridge" at New River Bridge NPS.We had a great weekend.
The house is located close to the park, and I was impressed with the communication from the host. They also left us well supplied with towels, snacks, coffee and firewood.
We were very happy with our stay and Robert was very friendly. Place was clean and nice, with a comfortable living area. Especially enjoyed the fully stocked coffee and snack bar. There was also a friendly neighborhood cat that came to greet us every time we went outside, which was a nice little suprise.
This was a great place and the hosts had all sorts of "extras" to make you feel appreciated. They had a snack bar, coffee, and tea! Our kids loved the cats outside and we loved everything about our experience there. We'd definitely recommend it!
Although getting to the property was challenging, the trip was more than worth it. Very nice accommodations in a lovely setting. The pictures don't do it justice. Everything we could possibly need was available in the home.thNew Ri area, this
The property is well set up, cozy, and clean. Our host set us up with snacks and a full coffee bar. The couch is enough to make you not want to leave! The back deck was a wonderful place to have your coffee!
We really enjoyed staying at Holler Ridge! The place is beautiful and so well stocked! There were treats, snacks, cold water bottles and coffee pods waiting for us when we arrived, so thoughtful of the hosts! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you will need, along with body wash and shampoo in the bathrooms. There were games and toys for kids and a big yard for them to play in. The deck was awesome and well protected from the rain we had during most of our stay. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable.
Robert and Vickie are THE most amazing hosts. Their property, Holler Ridge, was exactly as advertised and perfect for our family vacation to New River Gorge NP. Robert was in constant communication with us, provided tips about the area, and genuinely cares that you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. We communicated that we would be arriving a bit late in the evening, so they had the lights on and the house was toasty warm when we arrived. We 100% recommend this host and property!
Holler Ridge was clean, spacious, and had everything we could ask for - comfortable couches, good lighting, a great shower, a beautiful view from comfortable chairs on the deck, even a cat (outside only) to sit on our laps. Host Robert was most generous with tips n where to eat, shop, and hike. He is southern hospitality personified. Winding country roads will get you there and its so worth going.
