Booked a stay for a weekend with sports games going on with family! We had such a great time being able to relax in this gorgeous clean and spacious house. Ample space, clean, and very cool house!!! We were definitely sad to leave the day we checked out, and would definitely stay again!!!
We were down for basketball tournament and for the time of year in April it was perfect for us The cost was right there rather than a hotel. Our 16-year-old girl just can get enough of the charm and such a cute place. We didn't use the downstairs basement remodel area. But the kitchen had everything and nice little neighborhood to go for a walk since it was so nice out. The beds were great. Although with a charming older house you're going to hear the noises of people walking around. But we loved it, definitely would stay there again. Oven worked out great and cooked breakfast every morning on the stove top. Super convenient for the tournament only just a few minutes away.
Great property for a relaxing visit of old friends. Only negative is the 4pm check in time, which (in our opinion) is a couple of hours too late for us to settle in and enjoy the space.
The house worked great for our family. There was plenty of room and the location was nice and quiet. My only note would be that the kitchen has very basic supplies and dishes.

This was very close to many amenities. Owner was easy to contact and talk to. The house was very clean and roomy. There was a washer and dryer in case you needed ti do laundry. Highly recommended, would stay here again!
Would have been nice to have outdoor chairs in back yard. Also, bath soap for showers. We needed more coffee pods - only had 3 and we are six people. Recliner down stairs is broken. It would be nice to have chairs in bedrooms. We also needed more coffee cups.
Overall, our two families had a wonderful stay!
Lovely historic home, very clean, spacious, and charming.
Communication with the host was great.
It was a hot weekend, and we were thankful for the AC units. Didn't use the fireplaces!
We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen - there were decent pans, sharp knives, good appliances. Salt/pepper/olive oil provided.
The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels for the bathrooms.
Close to town, we walked to the antique stores.
Only downsides are out of the hosts control - the train noise, and there was a physical assault in the middle of the street our first night which required a police presence.
I doubt you will escape the train noise or crime no matter where you stay in the city.
Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us, we especially loved the cozy original wood trim/floors and lighting!
Older updated home w original woodwork and built-ins. 4 bedrooms all w queen beds, comfortable w nice bedding and pillows. 3 Bedrooms and full bath upstairs, full bath on main floor off kitchen. One bedroom and extra bonus living room in basement with outdoor access. Fireplace in main and down living areas, we didn’t use. TVs in main living areas only. Had all tools necessary to cook for 6, basic supplies but in good/new condition. Only salt, pepper, and olive oil offered. Hotel size shampoo etc. nice and plenty of towels offered. No blow dryer. Some ongoing repairs/maintenance going on but house was fully functional and very comfortable. Would have enjoyed a bbq and patio furniture but it wasn’t available at the time. Patio project in works that will be nice when done. Great neighborhood and very close to Sports Hub venue. We enjoyed walks in neighborhood looking at historical houses. Felt very safe and quiet. Upstairs guests did hear the train a few times at night, earplugs are offered although we didn’t see until day we left. An easy flat walk to downtown took about 10-15 min. Several choices to eat within walking distance. Overall really enjoyed our stay. Would rent again. Host very easy to communicate/work with and quick response.
