The entire lake house is accessible along with the large yard and parking area. The property lines are marked with private signage. You have access to a sliver of private Lake Erie beach bliss only two doors away (outlined in the house manual.) Feel free to use the 2 standup paddle boards, beach chairs, corn hole boards, Can-Jam, and fire pit.

Lastly, this is a quiet and safe space for relaxation and family fun. There is a swing set on the property and a private community playground a bike ride away.

Perfect Birding Retreat with Serene Marsh Views

We had an amazing stay at this rental! The location was perfect, being close to several fantastic birding spots. We enjoyed the peaceful views of marshland birds right from the property, which made for a serene and relaxing experience. The nearby restaurants were excellent, offering a variety of delicious options. The house itself was wonderful. The kitchen was very well stocked, making it easy to prepare meals. The furniture was comfortable, and we loved the lovely coastal style of the decor. It really added to the charm of the place. Zach, our host, was a great communicator. He provided us with helpful ideas about additional birding locations, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled getaway.

Host profile image
Hello! I'm from Fremont, Ohio, and I love hosting guests who appreciate adventures, fishing, boating, family time, and the outdoors. Being a host allows me to share these interests and create memorable experiences for visitors.

Why they chose this property

The Sand Beach Association’s community is an area where everyone watches out for one another. The neighbors are kind and very helpful. And have welcomed me to their community with open arms. The street the property lives with is 100% residential so it is very quiet, and a sheriff’s deputy lives across the street, so you feel safe.

What makes this property unique

The property is actually a double lot, so the yard space is twice the size of most of homes in the area. This provides plenty of space for my kids to play and great parking. The backyard ends in a marshland that brings in many species of birds at different times of the year. I really enjoy the sunset over the marshland in the back yard. One of the perks is having a small portion of a private beach only 2 houses away to enjoy.
