It’s very clean and comfy, except the last night, there were 5 men that is loud late at night, at 11:30 pm they left and came back with 4 boxes of pizza, and talked loud and the foot steps are annoying too. My husband and I did not get a good night sleep.
Property was nice and had everything we needed. Lower half of a duplex, but that was not a factor. My adult kids stayed there and found it to be comfortable and a nice homey vibe.
The apartment was clean and comfortable. My sister and I stayed here for a week while visiting family. Extras included a hairdryer, laundry and dishwasher soap, hand soap and coffee pods.
Location was not far from downtown restaurants and stores.
I have a 3 year old daughter so we were looking for a place to make my daughter feel comfortable as my home. My daughter literally slept through the night for entire staying at Helen’s place. Great location for both school, downtown, and shopping. Very safe area as well! Helen responded promptly and everything went smooth. Thank you Helen!
Location is convenient, neighborhood is quiet and the apartment has everything you need without a bunch of extras. The backyard is big and would have been fun to hang out in if we had time. Thanks for a great stay!
We had a really lovely stay in this adorable home. It was our first trip to Findlay. Our son is a rising freshman at U of Findlay and we were in town for registration day and decided to make it a long weekend to explore the town. This home was such a great place to stay instead of a hotel. Adorable wrap around porch to enjoy morning coffee and felt perfectly safe. Very convenient to everywhere. Nice neighbors too! We hope to be able to stay again in one of our upcoming trips!
This was my second stay at Rest and Recharge in Findlay, Ohio and the second stay was as enjoyable as the first. The place is clean and located centrally. We visited while my son was at camp at the University of Findlay and the place was minutes away. The host had some upgrades she was doing to the furniture and was in full communication about the situation so as not to disturb our stay. As I said before, I have stayed at this home before and will not hesitate to book again the next time I travel to Findlay.
We stayed in the downstairs unit of the home which came with garage parking, wrap around porch, and backyard space with fire pit! Sadly, it rained many of the days we were there so we didn't get to make use of the pit, but the home was typical of many of other older ones in the neighborhood in regard to layout and space- perfect for two people though there is a second bedroom.
The only complaints we had were that a few days after arrival we discovered the dryer was stuffed full of wet linens that we had to spend hours breaking down into smaller loads to rewash and dry before we could do our own laundry, and the bed frame in the main bedroom was rather rickety. It wobbled and bent with minimal movement and felt more like temporary camping gear than permanent furniture, but overall these were relatively small things. We have had far worse experiences in Vrbos.
The owner was very friendly and checked in just to let us know they would be around to do some yard work which was nice. We had no issues to report but no doubt they would have responded quickly.
The location was perfect as it is just a block off one of the main roads in town so getting around was easy, but it is set far enough back in an established neighborhood that it was generally quiet save for the occasional loud motorcycle. For a time there was an occupant upstairs, but even so noise was not a problem- just typical levels of activity making it a nice and peaceful stay.
This place was perfect for a short-term stay. It had nice little touches and was very homey. It is a bottom floor unit though so always the possibility that there will be little ones above and it is easy to hear footsteps. Recommend booking the lower place if you have little ones and the upper place if you do not want to hear little ones.
Enjoyed stay here. Veryvnice and clean place. The outside walk needs some work, as the steps are kinda narrow, then you step over to grass area, and about fell bot times i left the house. Unfortunately i have a bad knee , so that.makes it twice as worse for me.
Inside was great with plenty of stuff in side to get youat least started. Like coffee..
Over all 5 stars
