The space
We are excited you are interested in our entire community of cabins.
The calendar is open and not updated automatically because we rent the cabins individually as well as for big groups.
Drop us a note and depending on your size, we can create a package for you (for example, we may have 3 cabins available for the dates you want to visit rather than all five)
The Ridge at Buffalo Point is a special and unique property. The grounds have some history. The 3 of the cabins have views of the old Lynch Waterslide that locals would enjoy in the warmer months. Baker Lodge was built on the foundation of that slide, the Buffalo Camps run alongside the now defunct slide and the bathhouse (which provides shower, toilet and sink for the Buffalo Camps) was the old bathrooms and changing areas for the slide. The large cabin duplex is a converted restaurant. You'll see on one side the colored floors and large farmhouse sink from the restaurant kitchen.
Your space:
Baker Lodge sleeps 4 with a master loft upstairs (queen bed, 1/2 bath and sleeping area). For families with small kids, sleeping mats behind the sitting area are perfect. You'll enjoy an updated kitchen with refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster and all your plates, bowls, utensils, glasses, bowls, pots and pans. A large screened back porch overlooks the woods down the ridge and includes a large dining table for 6 (includes a puzzle cover), 2 rocking chairs and your propane grill. Off the porch is your laundry room. Your living area includes a TV, loveseat, ottomans, dinette for 2-4 people and a computer desk. Your full bath with clawfoot tub is located off the living room.
Buffalo Camp 1 & 2 are great sleeping cabins for teens, singles or couples. You have electric and wifi with AC and heat in your cabin. Water is available in your private bathroom in the bathhouse. Each camp includes a queen bed, dinette set inside and also on the porch, and a kitchenette with microwave, toaster, mini fridge and prep bar. Camp 1 includes a loft accessible via a ladder and a sleeping mat (bring your sleeping bag and pillow). Think of an RV bunk height (it's great for kids, and for adults, it's your sleeping area)
Millers Landing 1 & 2 can be combined to create 5 bedrooms, 3 baths with 2 kitchens and 2 living spaces. You'll also enjoy 2 large porches.
Bedroom 1 - queen bed, chair, open closet - shelves and hanging rod
Bedroom 2 - queen bed, sitting area and rolltop desk for work or study, full closet and RokuTV
Bedroom 3 - queen bed, armoire, sitting chair and RokuTV
Bedroom 4 - custom bunks and a full futon, TV with DVD player
Bedroom 5 - full bed
2 couches and 1 futon are in your living spaces
Large dining table that will seat up to 12 with leaves.
Dine-in island plus lots of dining seating on the porches
To to give you the best experience we can, we ask you send us a request so we can provide the best package of cabins we can for you.
Guest access
You will be provided keycodes for access to your cabins.
Other things to note
There are stairs in Baker Lodge to access the master sleeping area.
There are also front stairs accessing the sleeping cabins. The sleeping cabins range from 20 yards to 40 yards from the bathhouse. Camp 2 is furthest away and you will walk uphill (consider that when planning)
