This bright and cheery newly renovated apartment is located near shops, restaurants and museums in the heart of the fashionable Left Bank just one block from the Luxembourg Gardens.
Combining the best of old world charm with state of the art amenities, the apartment includes a fully equipped gourmet cook's kitchen, slate tile bath with sunken tub and shower, original art, antiques and hardwood floors.
An objective of the renovation was to optimize the apartment area (649 square feet) and offer a large open area with light coming from three sides and minimize circulation area.
There is a separate large bedroom with a queen bed, as well as a convertible sofa with double mattress in the living room; each with independent access to the bathroom. The dining room seats six comfortably.
Amenities include a flat screen television, high speed internet access (fiber optics), CD and DVD players, dryer, washer, dishwasher, fresh fruit juicer, Braun and Nespresso coffee makers, and microwave.
The apartment provides all of the comforts of home, yet the location on the fourth floor above an open and airy garden courtyard with views of quaint Paris buildings and rooftops will remind you that you have 'come home' to one of the most exciting and glamorous cities in the world.
IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THE CANCELLATION POLICY:
Since we rent the apartment for longer stays (more than three weeks and exceptionally two weeks), our clientele typically reserves more than nine months in advance. As a result, if a client cancels the reservation less than nine months before the start of the stay, there is a distinct possibility that we may not relet the apartment for the same period. In the "Cancellation Section" of the VRBO website we chose "none" as the options offered by the website are not compatible with our long term rental approach. In fact, our cancellation condition is as follows:
Up to 6 months prior to beginning of stay: 90%
Less than 6 months:
Two cases:
1. The apartment is rented for the same period:
- 90% of the rent received from the canceled reservation if the new reservation rent is the same or longer.
2. The apartment is rented for a portion of the initial reservation period:
The refund will be calculated the same way as in 1. above except that the calculation will only apply to the period relet.
Example for 2:
The period cancelled was March 1 to April 30 and the total rent was $17,000. The client had made a $8,500 payment at reservation.
After cancellation, the apartment is only rented from March 1 to April 15 with total rent $12,750, 75% of the time.
After owner has received the entire rent of the new reservation, the calculation of the refund due is: 75% x 90% x $8,500 = $5.737.50
3. If the apartment is remains entirely vacant during the entire cancelled reservation period, no reimbursement is due.
