We enjoyed our stay and felt good about all aspects of our accommodations. The pool was especially good and the location was a plus.We would definitely return.
It was perfect for the two of us. Good location right across from the snook inn! Nice pool and people around the pool were very nice too. Would definitely stay here again if needed
The hosts were terrific. They were right on top of everything. Very clean condo and larger than expected. Plenty of towels, beach chairs and umbrella. Nice kitchen with plenty of plates, glassware, utensils. Loved having extra good TP, sunscreen, even storage baggies. It was such a nice surprise to have hosts who were extra attentive. We enjoyed walking to restaurants and fully enjoyed our stay.
The location was great and the condo had everything we needed for a great spring break get away. The pool was perfect and the other residents were friendly and welcoming.
We would stay there again for sure!

We loved the cleanliness and location of your condo. It was lovely, relaxing and quiet. Restaurants and shops were within walking distance and overlooking the canal was beautiful. We will definitely want to stay again.
Quiet well maintained located near all of Olde Marco Island. Beautiful pool area , friendly people, walking distance to restaurants, live music, scuba outfitters , shops and dining. Short ride to Tiger tail Beach .Rent bikes, take a boat ride. Our host was very responsive and gave us welcome suggestions about the area, and where to go for dining, recreation and entertainment. Hope to return !!
we have stayed in these condos before. The location is convenient. The owner, Harry, is always available. The only thing missing is the use of the washer and dryer. There is a laundry in the condos but not as convenient as the other units,. have stayed in, with it being in the unit. The unit is well equipped and comfortable. Hopefully back next year.
Model Village is wonderful. I can’t say enough terrific things about the owners, Harry and Rose Scott. We were in Marco when the Island began closing things, due to the Corona Virus. Rose was an absolute life saver attempting to calm our fears. We love the restaurants in Marco; however, they had to close and only do take out. We loved walking across the street to ZaZa’s to get great take out. We made the best of the situation. My husband caught a red fish right off the dock at model village and I was able to go on my runs every day. We will definitely come back to this beautiful, clean, quaint condo complex. Next March can’t come soon enough!!!

Unassuming and quiet area
We enjoyed our stay here. It is a basic, but very clean unit. Harry could not have been nicer or a better communicator. We never needed him, but he lives on the Island and responds to text immediately.
The unit was perfect for the wife and I. It is a little bit of a drive to the beach (7-8 minutes) but we knew that when we booked. We had several day trips planned (Everglades) as well as beach outings and this location worked out great. The best thing we found is that it is in the much quieter end of the Island away from the crowds.
At times we were the only ones in the extremely well maintained and clean pool. The pool area & patio were extremely well kept and landscaped. Nice to have a clean pool area to sit out and have a beer.
The closest beach is Tiger Tail and it was a very pristine and beautiful beach if you walked a bit and away from others, something we did not mind. Don't listen to the negative reviews online about this beach, get out and walk people! We found south Marco Beach not for us, way over crowded, over priced and people way to close for comfort.
We would stay again for location and friendly owner.
Thank you Harry for a great vacation.
We arrived early, was able to check in early. The hosts, Harry and Rose were wonderful. They had all of our required paperwork done for us ahead of time. Then they met us at the property to show us around and explain the area.
Also provided us with many local recommendations throughout our stay.
Exceeded our expectations!!!! Highly recommend!!!!!!
My husband and I stayed in this property for two weeks. We loved the property! Nice, small condo community (3 stories - not a high rise) with mostly retiree owners, but also some folks in their 40's with kids. We felt very safe here - residents participate in neighborhood watch. Great heated pool, laundry right next to it (very convenient) and a tidy bathroom too. Beautiful grounds and Ralph, the maintenance guy, was sweet.
Our condo was on the second floor right next to the elevator. That was also convenient. Nice kitchen set up but rather dark. The bathroom was also very dark. This is where we felt like things were not exactly clean. The dark brown glass bowl sink was impossible to keep clean and the paper lining the drawers could have just been removed. Bed was ok - queen and we are used to a king but we knew that up front. Could have used more closet space, but we did have a nice big dresser. There are never enough hangers in rentals; I'm glad I brought a dozen of my own. Two TV sets was a plus. And lots of towels for everything.
The couch and love seat were not at all comfortable to sit on. But overall, we really liked our place and would come back. Thanks to Harry and Rose for being wonderful hosts & the quick fix: on the kitchen light! They left us a lot of Marci Island info and even had restaurant suggestions. We were not disappointed and had a great stay!
The apartment is comfortable, well-supplied with necessary items and convenient to restaurants and taverns in the Old Marco area. Harry, the owner was very helpful. An easy drive to Tiger Tail Beach. Among the restaurants we tried, Fin Bistro was a clear winner.
South facing balcony to soak up sun- clean and convenient
I was happy first thing to see there was a bullet blender for my morning smoothies. We were completely satisfied with our choice to stay here. The weather was unseasonably cool so the small balcony off the bedroom was a welcome spot out of the wind to catch a few sun rays. It’s hard to envision on a map how big an island is but this was perfect. Ten minutes driving and you’re to either end. The walk is enjoyable as the traffic isn’t going too fast (25 mph or so speed limit) and the sidewalk is plenty far away. We walked right out from the condo down Bald Eagle to Collier where you can walk across a bridge or go below to a boardwalk. It’s only a short walk to live music at Snooks with a great upper deck to wait for a table and enjoy looking down on string lights and docks. We hardly used the heated pool because of trips to south beach (our favorite). We also went to less busy Tiger Tail Beach- don’t worry; it’s no problem to walk around the standing water to the gulf. No bathrooms or restaurants at tiger tail, though, so bring a light cooler, you’ll be walking through sugar sand. Shell hunting seemed better there, but we liked the convenience of restaurants at South Beach. (Our favorites were The Sunset Grill and 560 at the Hilton, which is a walk but worth it.)
This condo is second floor but they do have an elevator if needed. The place was clean and no bugs. Ladies, you can walk from the condo to a cute shop, Kay’s, and Beall’s. Next time we’d rent bicycles from the shop across the road. For us, this was an affordable option and we like the feel of a small facility over a high rise.
One more tip, there can be a line-up of cars to get into parking at South Beach but if you are willing to wait ten minutes in line you can usually get in with people coming and going at different times.

Great Location, Great Owner
This is a hidden gem in the Olde Marco Village area. It’s in a great location within walking distance to several favorite restaurants and bars. The unit has been remodeled and is quiet and cozy. The complex is small which makes a day at the pool relaxing. The owner, Harry, couldn’t have been better. He called far in advance to make sure my wife and I had everything we needed and swung by after we checked in to confirm we were good to go. He even sent photos of Hurricane Irma’s effects a few months prior to our trip. This condo was worth every cent. Thank you Harry and Rose for the wonderful vacation!!!

Enjoyed every minute!
The only thing that kept this from being a '5' was it wasn't on the beach. A beachfront property would have been out of our price range though. There is, however, a very nice pool and area. The unit itself is exactly as pictured and had everything you could want for a comfortable stay. The bathroom as been redone with lots of storage and there is ample storage throughout. It has a small balcony off the bedroom as well. One of the best things about this rental property is the landlord, Harry. He makes sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. We had an issue with fridge, we reported it to Harry, and the next day there was a brand new one in its place. The whole complex is very well maintained and the 'neighbors' are friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and hope to stay again. Thanks Harry. You know how to treat your guests.

My wife and I own this rental condo in Model Village on Marco Island. We rent it out and provide personal service to all of our guests from key service to advice on dining and entertainment. We love the island and hope that you do too. Many of our renters return year after year. We invite you to be one of them.
Why they chose this property
Old Marco is the home of many of the finest restaurants, art studios and entertainment locations on the island. You can watch sunset from the deck at the Snook Inn or enjoy live music at The Boardroom. Join friends for happy hour at one of the locals pubs or restaurants. All just a leisurely stroll away.
What makes this property unique
Model Village is a sleeper. The exterior is unassuming but when you enter the grounds from the parking lot you will be surprised by the flowers, pool and docks that await you. The residents are friendly, the pool is inviting, the neighborhood has a lot to do but is quiet and private. You will be able to walk safely to nearby attractions.
