Bears truly do abound in this cozy 2+ bedroom, 2 bathroom luxury cabin. Small enough to serve as your dream romantic couple’s getaway, yet big enough to sleep 8-10 for larger family get-togethers, Bears Abound is the best place to enjoy the majestic views of the Great Smoky Mountains. Relax and soak in the breathtaking views from our bubbling hot tub or enjoy the same spectacular view from a relaxing rocking chair on the second floor deck. Bears Abound features two private master suites with King-sized beds and full bathrooms. The second level master suite also has a private, indoor jetted tub. For the kids (or the young at heart), there is a “loft-in-a-loft” with 2 Queen-sized beds and a “crow’s nest” with a full-sized futon. If you like games, Bears Abound will not disappoint! You have your choice of foosball, air hockey and pool. For those who prefer peace and quiet, imagine curling up with a good book in front of the picture window or snuggle up in front of the cozy fireplace with the Great Smoky Mountains as your backdrop. Guests will receive free high-speed internet/WIFI, access to the resort's pool during the summer and exercise facility/steam room. Bears Abound has it all!

Smoky Mountains Vacation
Everything was perfect. Mr. Green is a wonderful host, and went above and beyond to make our vacation perfect. Starting every day with an insane view of the Smokies was unbelievable, and the proximity of the property allows its guests to enjoy the National Park as well as the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. Nice cabin. Description provided is accurate. Closer to neighbors than other cabins we’ve stayed in, but we knew that going in. Perfect for large families (6 of us). We didn’t bring our dogs, but we did originally plan to and it would have worked great. Don’t ignore the bear signs, we saw one cross the road 3 cabins away as we were pulling in one evening. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

It's perfect for a family with older children. My kids were entrained with the foosball, pool table, air hockey table and beautiful views of the Smokey Mountains from both decks! It was both cozy and spacious for my family. I would highly recommend staying here to my family and friends!

Our stay at Bears Abound in The Preserve Resort was a wonderful experience. The cabin is nestled in the Smoky Mountains, providing breathtaking views and a truly serene atmosphere. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway with my sisters. Highlights: Hot Tub: Clean, easy to use, and perfect for unwinding with stunning mountain views. Comfortable Beds: Incredibly comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep after exploring. Cleanliness: Very clean and well-maintained, with a pleasant smell throughout. Spacious and Well-Stocked: Ample room for everyone, with a well-stocked kitchen for easy meal prep. Games and Family Time: Enjoyed foosball, pool, air hockey, board, and card games for fun and bonding. Quiet and Beautiful: Perfect for a peaceful retreat. Washer and Dryer: Convenient in-cabin laundry for a large group. Owner's Responsiveness: The owner was responsive, kind, and respectful, promptly addressing any concerns. Minor Inconvenience: Great having pool access, but it's a bit of a climb on foot, so we drove. Walking access would have been nice. Recommendation: Full-Length Mirror: Adding a full-length mirror would be great for checking appearances before heading out. Overall, we had an amazing time at Bears Abound. The combination of beautiful surroundings, comfort, and excellent amenities made it a memorable stay. Exactly what we needed for our family of five with two dogs. The pool has the best view in the area. Very clean and comfortable. Had an issue with the WiFi and the owner was extremely helpful and quick to respond. Nice quiet neighborhood with all the amenities one could need. Would stay here again.

I wish we had made longer reservation. No body wanted to leave. The cabin has a cozy feel, but there was plenty of space for everyone and our dogs too. The beds were comfortable, the view was amazing, and we loved the hot tub and jacuzzi tub.

We are a family who loves to travel with our dogs to the Great Smoky Mountains. When our son was 5 years old, he told us he wanted his own cabin and he named it 'Bars Ubound' (Bears Abound). When we decided to purchase a cabin of our own, we already knew what the name would be!

Why they chose this property

We have spent many vacations in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We have been on many frightening drives with tight, bending switchbacks and driveways where we couldn't park on a level surface or safely back out into the street. When we decided to purchase our own cabin, we looked at ton of different cabins in different areas. Our #1 criteria was that the drive to and from the cabin be easily accessible and our #2 criteria was to have a spectacular view. #3 was for it to be big enough for our family, but small enough to be cozy. There were a few properties for sale in The Preserve and as soon as we entered the resort, we knew this was the place we wanted to be. The drive is a little steep in places and we would call it 'medium' in difficulty, but it's definitely not nearly as harrowing as drives to many of the other cabins we've stayed at in the area. The parking is level and easy and the views...... THE VIEWS are absolutely the best we've ever seen! Stay with us and we KNOW you'll love it, too!!
