Time well spent

We stayed here for Memorial day weekend and had a blast. The house was cozy and clean. The rooms were spacious. Check in was easy and so was any communication. We spent plenty of time down stairs hanging out and enjoying the space.

I wanted to love this property so badly!

We loved that there was plenty of seating and outdoor furniture. An awesome space to entertain! Unfortunately, the lever door was so easy for our almost 2 year old grandson to open we spent much of the time chasing and arranging furniture to keep him from getting out the front door fearful of him making it to the stairs. The home was well stocked with all manner of things to cook and prepare a meal easily which made life super easy. The beach toys and chairs accessibility was so great! The additional outdoor showers and huge yard to play in made this one of my favorites! Unfortunately, the full sized beds which we believed the description says Queen were so uncomfortable, my daughter and her family ended up leaving before our trip was over because she couldn’t sleep. Dusty AC vents made me fret a little, but not enough to clean. There were power outages two days in a row. Including the morning we were packing up to leave while we were cooking breakfast. Ended on a sour note for us since we were sweating and packing our car for the tight ride home. All in all…loved the beach!

Galveston

The house was older than I thought it would be but it was great for us. My son & dil adopted 4 kids and they had never been to the beach so they got the thrill trip of their lives. They live in western Oklahoma and they enjoyed the beach so much. We went to Rainforest to eat and they had a blast. It was a very good family vacation

Weekend Away

This was a lovely beach house with plenty of space and supplies for a fun trip to the beach! A recent storm impacted the internet and the host made sure to call the cable company to get it resolved as fast as possible. This is a great place to stay with a big group, there is also a huge yard!

Great Beach House!

The amount of space at this place is amazing. Great house layout that provides plenty of space to accomodate a large group of people for gathering and sleeping. Very well stocked with dishes, silverware, cookware, etc.... Extra showers and bathroom outside was really nice after the beach. HUGE yard to play any kind of games you want. It was fun to hang out below the house at night time also. The beach is a short 10 minute walk or 1 minute drive. Highly recommend this place!

My family ( kids 3 and 5) stayed here for a full week and enjoyed it so much. Awesome house, kid friendly and so close to a not crowded beach. We brought a wagon and walked back and forth, really wonderful, we enjoyed it so much. The outdoor showers were amazing! Don’t forget bug spray! Mosquitos are awful ( not house specific but it was our first time in Galveston and we didn’t know haha)

First family vacation!

This was the first time we took our whole family on vacation and we had two adults and three kids ranging from 3-13. We loved the spacious and clean house, the ample seating areas outside, the large and airy bedrooms, and the privacy. My kids loved the dance floor outside (though there was some evidence of previous merrymaking gone awry in the form of dried vomit in one area) and we had a dance party. I loved the two porches, and shifted my lounging depending on where the breeze was. Our only complaints were that not all of the light fixtures were functional and we had to improvise on our first night when we cooked in the house and didn't have any oven mitts to get the food out of the oven.

Great House- fun trip

This was a great house. It was clean and had plenty of room for our group of 3 adults and 4 kids. It is close to the beach and away from the crowds in town...but not too far. We went into town almost every evening for dinner. The owner was very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this house. Our only complaint would be that the 2 queen beds were not the most comfortable. If the beds were better it would have been 5 stars. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Nice stay

We had guests in for a wedding and needed extra sleeping accommodations. This house was a good comfortable and economical choice. Plenty of living space including patio space under the house and lots of extra parking and outdoor play space on big open lot. A little further from the beach than expected but still an easy enough walk.
