The home features a Main Bedroom on the 2nd Level which has a queen bed with a pillowtop mattress, a half bath, 32-inch Roku Smart TV and plenty of privacy! The first level features 2 additional bedrooms each with queen beds, pillow top mattress, and 32-inch Roku Smart TV’s! Conveniently, one of the first floor bedrooms has a queen air mattress in the closet! Additionally, on the first level there is a full bathroom with a spacious stand-up shower, a full kitchen with a table that sits 4, a living room with a comfortable sectional, and a 50-inch Roku Smart TV! The lower level has a rec room with a Roku TV, table, 4 chairs, and games for your enjoyment!

Guest can simply park in the private driveway and self-check-in through the front door using the keypad entry.

My wife and I were born and raised in Akron, OH just minutes from this home, and we love the neighborhood! We now live in Columbus, OH where we have 3 other Short Term Rentals! We have been Short Term Rental Host since 2019 and love that our properties can play a small part in the memories that our guest create for themselves and their families. Our listing will not disappoint as we take pride in the little details to make it feel like your home away from home!

Akron Stay

I grew up in Akron and was coming back for a visit. The property was pretty well maintained and overall the bang for the buck was pretty good. The neighborhood is very nice nobody bothered anybody and there was no craziness. The renter was very timely and getting back to me when I had any questions which I didn't have a lot of but he was very quick to get back to me. Overall a very good place to stay. Home away from Home

This property is so clean, comfortable and cozy. It felt like home away from home. Location is close to the highway and not far from grocery stores and gas stations. All of the rooms were nicely decorated and the kitchen fully stocked with all of the cooking utensils that we needed. I will definitely be booking again the next time I’m in the area.

Great local getaway

Had some freinds over to watch the game first night. Very nice and cozy in the heart of winter. Looks small but quite spacious. Every room including the basement and attic is ready for guest. That's awesome! Great place to stay!

Problem-free Pleasant Stay

We stayed here between Christmas and New Years. The house was easy to access, with a long driveway and enough space inside to be comfortable, with an extra large attic with attached bathroom. The neighborhood was very active - many fast cars and people walking around, but nothing unpleasant. The GPS route to the property takes you through some unpleasant looking areas, but the houses location is very nice. Would stay here again for sure.

I liked the property it was clean, had all the amenities in case you forgot something. The Washer/Dryer worked great. The only thing was the chairs in the kitchen need to be replaced, i sat in one and fell sideways 😬( the seat was detached)

Cozy place to call home!

This home was everything that was described in the description and more. The stay felt more like a second home. Very clean, plenty of amenities and spacious. Very friendly contact team.

As Stated

This property was as shown in pictures and true to size- small but efficient space. There were extras around the home and in the cupboards- food, extra towels, supplies. Missed having a toaster in the kitchen, but otherwise very well furnaced and snacks available on cabinet. The home was clean and furnace/air in great working order. Of note, when the furnace came on, upstairs there was a definite animal odor from the vents, as if animals had previously lived in home. This was not easily noted on main floor. There were windows upstairs that helped with fresh air. The upstairs was a large open room that would accommodate a playpen and smaller children a bed on the floor if needed, along with a queen-size comfy bed. Host was always quickly responsive, if any questions. Upon guest arrival at 4:15pm, yard was noted to be unmowed and a bit unkempt. No contact was made with host but yard personnel arrived around 5p and cared for grass mowing. Neighborhood around home was mostly well-kept. Home was within 10 minutes of downtown and within 20 min of Visitors Center for Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which was a very helpful venue. The waterfalls are all worth the hikes, and the Ledges are a must-see. The train ride was historically informative and interesting, but not panoramic scenery as was somewhat expected. Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens is architecturally beautiful and worth seeing. Tree colors around neighborhood and area were very nice in fall. Thank you!

Annual Couple Vacation

We took our annual couple vacation here to hike Cuyahoga National Park. We had a great time. The house was clean, and had lots of extra amenities in case you forgot something. We enjoyed the game room in the badment as well.

As advertised

Everything was great, just had one thing that may not be a big deal to renters. The outlets in the rooms & living room only have 2 prongs, so if you have a breathing machine with 3 prongs you'll have to use the small extension cord to plug in.
