This property was as listed and the listing is appealing. There was a portable air conditioner that kept the place comfortable even in the prolonged 99 degree temperatures. This property was in an older neighborhood and close to many activities we had planned for our stay. The place was roomy, clean, in good repair and nicely appointed with good artwork on the walls. We loved the unique dining room table. The knives were sharp which all the cooks appreciated. The main fry pan has been ruined by a previous renter and needs replaced. There are no towel hooks in the second bathroom which makes it difficult to know what to do with wet bath towels. The towel rack on the front of the island in the kitchen does not work. The towel was constantly on the floor because of the design and it was just the right height to give me several bruises. It needs moved. The bed support in the master bedroom needs work - it creaks and pops when a person is getting in and out of bed. These few criticisms can be easily fixed by the owner/manager. Our first night there, the upstairs tenant and her young dog were very noisy all night. The six of us all suffered from the lack of sleep. The second two nights were not as bad. All in all, we were mostly happy with this property. And I say this because of the awful first night of interrupted sleep.
3 couples stayed here for an event close by, the house was comfortable and large enough to never feel crowded with 6 people. Great location for East Missoula.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Beware of inaccuracies of amenities and facilities
The place was nice but there were two main issues with this place. One was the listing indicated air conditioning but there was none. There was only one main fan in the living room that we couldn't turn on. It was 100 degrees during the day. The second issue was that this place has a permanent renter living on the second floor whose noise could be heard downstairs. This should have been indicated in the listing.
Had to request address from owner which thought was odd it wasn't in check in instructions as all do. The place was a lower duplex not a Private home as listed when it was booked. The renters that live in upper unit was noisey, had a child running around and the dog was locked in a kennel or room above master and was whining and scratching until late hours at night. Could not sleep in we were up with the noise at 6:30 a.m. on vacation. We left to come back later in the day and the numbers on the lock outside had been changed to make us feel like someone entered unit. Overall stopped interacting with host in fear our belongings would be put outside. Main complaint is on ad when it was booked and screanshot I sent him showed Private home. Noise and upper neighbors was other issue. Bumper sticker on their vehicle said "If you’re going to ride my A-- you might as well pull my hair. That says alot. Beware!
