6 Bedroom, 3 Bath with loft featuring a full sized kitchen, bar with countertop, 2 tables for optimal seating. 2 living rooms, one with a stone fireplace, TV, VCR, beautiful deck facing the slopes and living room two has a pool table, TV, DVD/VCR and a double murphy bed. Outdoor hot tub and access to Big Bird Trail. High speed wireless internet. (Hot tub only for Winter Season)

The property was very clean and well-maintained. It fit my family perfectly and had adequate space for a big group. Try to arrive with sunlight, as it was a little hard for some of the guest to find at night.

The only amenity lacking was access to a Washer/Dryer. Several of had been traveling previous to our visit and being able to do laundry would have been appreciated.

Favorite Chalet at Powderhorn

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is one of our favorite chalets at Powderhorn. It has a very large livingroom with a fireplace and lots of seating. The extra long dining room has 2 tables with plenty of chairs and the galley kitchen has an extra 4 chairs at the bar. 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, allowing ample space for multiple families. We had 8 people staying here. It is close to both Bessemer and Ironwood and it kept up very well. The large deck off the livingroom is perfect for enjoying the outdoor and also gives you extra seating if hosting a get together as we did. We have stayed at Snowflake many times over the years and will definitely do so again.

Great Place to Stay in the Summer Too!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for seven nights for a family reunion and couldn't be more pleased with the place. We picked this place for the three bathrooms among eleven people, and it was perfect for us and what was needed. The manager was great to work with when the wi-fi router wouldn't work or we needed things like more garbage bags or TP. Also, we've stayed in a number of rental places, and this was the first where I didn't wish I had a ton of kitchen items from home to use. Great facilities, comfortable beds, and a good location from which to go to Wakefield for the fireworks over the Fourth or Little Girl's Point for the afternoon. The only thing it lacks is laundry facilities, which was difficult for how long we were away (with a toddler who can't avoid mud when he sees it), but it was a small thing compared with how much we loved the place. We really hope to stay here again!

The house is quite dated, but the hot tub was relatively new and wonderful. Water pressure was very poor, particularly upstairs. The view is amazing, and the convenience cannot be beat. I would certainly return.
