This is the closest 2 bed/2 bath villa that you can find for the value. This villa, Twisted Oaks, is a short walk to the Cougar Point Golf Club and restaurant. Kiawah Island offers 10 miles of wide, immaculate beach to walk or cycle for hours and hours without interruption. The beach is complemented by the island’s river, meandering lagoons, and pristine marshlands, and is a beautiful place to visit all year round. Bucket list two nights on the Island. Owners info about chair rentals, bikes, local grocery , restaurants and other Must sees was key! First time to SC and Charleston and these nights on Kiawah Island were absolute paradise! Condo is sooo convenient to easily walk to beach! Lovely little porch nestled in treetops was so relaxing after long days!

My wife and I decided to make a last minute quick trip to Kiawah Island. This condo was available and we quickly booked and had a lovely stay. A short walk to the beach was a plus. Getting tickets to the Mingo Point Oyster Roast was icing on the cake !

Everything was as expected. Short walk to the beach and the hosts notes helped us find restaurants and other facilities. Golf in the area was outstanding and very expensive.

Great location by the beach!
The location of the property and ease of access of the beach was amazing! Our trip was impacted by a hurricane and on the good days of the trip we were back and forth to the beach during the clearer periods. Making that trip back and forth to the beach with two young boys was easy. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. There was plenty of space for the four of us and we enjoyed our time here.

Perfect for families!
We came here for a long weekend with 2 kids. The house was great. Plenty of essentials, you just need to bring dishwasher tabs, laundry soap and coffee filters. It really is just a 2-3 min walk to beach and the trail is right downstairs. Easy check in and good communication with host. We had no issues and will definitely book again!

Fantastic location on a wonderful island
This VRBO was perfect for my family on a get away to a beautiful Kiawah. The beach is a safe 2 min walk along one of the trails. You cannot ask for closer. Apartment was well stocked with all you need, including beach chairs etc. Owner readily followed up on any queries. I want to book again!

Property was very clean and comfortable. We had an extremely difficult year so we wanted peace and quiet and that's exactly what we got. Would highly recommend staying here if you need to relax and decompress. The ocean was too cold for swimming. It would have been over the top with access to a heated pool but still a wonderful place to stay.

Great Spring Break Getaway
The place was so convenient to the beach and to getting back off the island. We rode our bikes everywhere! This was our first trip to Kiawah but we will be back! The host was very responsive and so helpful! Book this place!

Beautiful unit in a pristine location
Kiawah Island is/was an awesome experience for my birthday week. Access to the beach was an easy and short walk. Golf courses are abundant, as are the restaurants. Birthday dinner at the Ocean Course could not have been better. If you haven't visited the island, it should be on your bucket list. Twisted Oaks Villa is ideal for couples and even a small family. Cheers!!

Enjoyed the extras around the condo. A small cooler, beach chairs, sand toys, extra tp and garbage bags, tinfoil & suran wrap, salt & pepper. Comfortable beds & pillows. Close to beach. Historic book of island. The only drawback for us was we could not get the wifi to work.

This condo was perfect for our 2 day stay until we could transition to a larger house when our family came, 8 adults and 2 babies. Property was as described. Everything you need and close to the ocean. Very homey feeling. We rode bikes almost the whole time. All you have to do is call the company and will deliver and pick back up. Here we got to spent more quality family time, very laid back!! We will definitely be back!!

We live in central NC and travel frequently up and down the East Coast. Kiawah Island is one of our favorite stops - the reason we have a house there.

Why they chose this property

Kiawah Island has a beauty all its own. The first time my family and I visited we fell in love. It was like being in your own magical island, yet only 30 minutes from downtown Charleston. When you drive down Kiawah Island Parkway, it is hard to believe that this island is a beach resort, not just a maritime forest. I think Kiawah provides an atmosphere of relaxation that is extremely rare these days. The natural beauty on the peaceful 10 miles of private beach, the 25+ miles of bike trails, fishing, top notch dining options, tennis, golf, and abundant activities called us to make Kiawah our second home. So, come and enjoy our southern hospitality and relax a while on Kiawah Island.

What makes this property unique

Twisted Oaks, as we lovingly call our villa, is located steps from the beach. Kiawah Island beach was ranked in the top ten beaches of 2016 by Dr. Beach. The beach, golf, tennis, biking, walking, fishing, boating, food, and natural beauty of Kiawah Island make it a unique vacation destination to which no other place can compare. Our villa is located in the epicenter of it all. Once we arrive we don't move the car until it is time to go home, because we enjoy riding our bike or walking everywhere we like to go. When we do leave, we always make sure to have plans to return before we drive off the island.
