Perfect In Every Way

If I am traveling to Michigan, this is the place that I will stay. If it is not available, I would rearrange my trip dates. The owners go beyond simply making their home comfortable, clean and welcoming. The property manager is fabulous. She is knowledgeable and keeps the property in pristine condition. Perfect!

Beautiful Views!

The house was so perfect for us. Very quiet, private area with AMAZING views of the lake. Lots of space, plenty for the 4 of us. Pretty central to all the places we wanted to go visit with lots of options for town shopping and food. The only thing we would recommend would be to maybe add a tv to one of the queen bed rooms. A very small detail to an otherwise very perfect house. I can’t wait to go again.

Lovely home for peace and quiet!

This was our fourth stay at this home, and we've loved it every time! Local host Christine does a wonderful job of taking care of it and making it SO welcoming. We had stormy weather and a brief power outage while we were there this fall, and she was right on top of it; doing everything possible to keep us comfortable. The new owners have obviously put lots of love and updates into this home. The township, and the neighborhood, enforce strict standards and rowdiness is NOT tolerated, but if you love peace and quiet, this is will be a great place for you!

Awesome location

This is by far one of the best places we have stayed in Northern MIchigan. It was very clean including the swept garage floor. The beach was fantastic and fun even on the colder days. We will definitely go back if it is available. Christine, the property manager, was a delight to work with.

We had my daughter's wedding that weekend and this was the perfect location! The house/property was amazing! Christine was also amazing..thank for you everything! One little thing..we had so many family/friends that came to celebrate with us an we really wished that we could have had alittle of our family over the day after the wedding to enjoy the leftover wedding food we were able to keep. Can't wait to come back!

Welcoming Feeling and an Enjoyable Stay

This was our fourth year back to the property and the improvements and upgrades made are fantastic. Converting the downstair bedroom to a full bed opened up space in the room. Putting the two twin beds upstairs to make the upstairs bedroom into a kid’s bedroom is a great idea. The grandchildren loved the wooden toys in the room and the little chest of drawers for all their little prizes. Note to parents, check the drawers before leaving. All the changes to the room made them feel as it was “their room.” The kids also loved discovering the rock with the “googly eyes” around the house. The rebuilding of the steps to the beach and adding the handrails is another great improvement. The platform added half-way down became my spot for boat watching on the lake with my binoculars. The full-size refrigerator in the garage gives plenty of space for overflow from the kitchen refrigerator. There are plenty of dishes and utensils, for adults and children, pots and pans, and appliances (upgraded to a Keurig) in the kitchen. The new WIFI routers upstairs and downstairs really improved the reception throughout the house and outside. Adding the Rokus so guest could login with their own accounts for the TVs is great for streaming services. All and all, the major upgrades/improvements and the little things around the house gave a very welcoming feeling and makes for an enjoyable stay. Christine makes sure the house is clean before your arrival and provides her contact information to answer any of your questions. She is super person, and we always look forward to renewing our contact with her each year.

Paradise in Charlevoix!

This house is an absolute dream!! The views are stunning and pictures don't do it justice. There are so many towns and great shopping within an hour or less, including Mackinac Island! We had a wonderful six day visit the first week of June, 2022. Lake Michigan was crystal clear and this house is directly on the lake with less than 15 steps between us and the rock covered beach. Christine, the host, was a dream to work with and aimed to please. You will not be disappointed!! We can't wait to stay here again!

Wonderful home in a peaceful, quiet setting!

This was our fourth stay in this lovely home, and we just adore it. The new owners have put a lot of love and care into the home, and it shows! The location is in a peaceful and very quiet neighborhood, which is one of our favorite things about it. So, noisy partying would not be well-received! :) Close to Charlevoix, and a great location for day trips to Boyne City, Petoskey, even Mackinaw City. We got to meet our Ah-mazing local host Christine on this trip when she stopped by to plant some flowers. She is truly a gem, and clearly cares deeply about the home and the happiness of the guests! Wonderful vacation, and we will look forward to returning.

Beautiful Home in Quiet Community

Gorgeous house with a private beach. I will definitely be back. The house has everything you need and the owner and staff are great. Very peaceful setting with a beautiful view of a private bay just south of the state park. I highly recommend!

Beautiful View in Quiet Community

This house and location was amazing. Completely private beach on a small bay next to the state park. The owner and staff were fantastic and very responsive. Gorgeous place, I highly recommend.

Absolutely Beautiful

What a great place. Quiet, secluded, right on the lake. With food, wine and shopping a 5 minute drive away. Christine was amazing. Kayaked every day. Eagles, osprey, sunsets around the fire. Fantastic. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Family Vacation in Northern Michigan

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! The sunsets were unbelievable and the location was great for all the places we visited. Christine was so helpful with everything from giving us a heads up on the detours around Hwy 31 to letting us know exactly what was available at the house. She was very attentive and easily available to answer all our questions. We had 2 young kids with us and they loved the beach and the sandy area in the backyard for hours of playtime! Beds were very comfortable and everyone had plenty of room to spread out. We would definitely rent this location again!!

Charlevoix Gem

This home is beautiful and with amazing views of Lake Michigan. It was clean and decorated nicely. There were a lot of updates to the home since I booked in January. The new windows and doors allowed us to see the lake from almost every room in the house. Plenty of outdoor space for relaxing. A large deck with furniture and a bonfire pit with multiple seating. It was private and secluded and the sunsets were spectacular. Perfect for a tranquil getaway. The property manager was knowledgeable and attentive. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We can't wait to return!

We had an awesome stay!

This was my third time staying at this home on Lake Michigan and I would do it again. The house has always been clean and communication with the person overseeing the house is excellent . It is an excellent location for sightseeing many spots in the area and beyond. The water levels have allowed a nice sandy beach and the view of Lake Michigan cannot be beat. It is a wonderful place to call home while you are in the area. Christine does an awesome job with overseeing the home for the many guests that stay there.

We had an awesome stay!

This home has an excellent view of Lake Michigan and love how the interior is warm and inviting. I would say that I noticed as well as the others in our party staying there that upkeep was needed on the outside of the home since our last stay there. The soffits need repair/replacement, the balcony off the two bedrooms on the second story facing the lake were taped off due to boards that appeared rotted and needing replacement, and the roof appeared to be needing some attention. Some of the soffit work might just need scraping and painting. This did not prevent me from booking the house again in October but could detract from others who drive up and think that outside general upkeep and maintenance is lacking on the structure.

Great Location and Views

We stayed here over labor day and the week after. The location is great and just far enough from town where you do not see many people around. There are houses next door, but you don't notice them, because of all the trees. The Fisherman's State Park is right next door for a good hike to the beaches or sand dunes. Great views ontop of the dunes. You can get there from the road down the street just a little ways. They have a little bit of parking at the path. The house inside is in great shape and well taken care of. The views of the lake are wonderful. The beds are comfortable. Plenty of space for my family when we stayed. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The outside of the house needs a little work and it appears they are starting the necessary repairs. The fire pit was great. The beach is perfect to build a sand castle or look for rocks. You have kayaks and a canoe as well. The water is really clear. It was too cold for us to swim. There is sand about 6 ft out from the rocks. We did use the kayaks and canoe. Christine the caretaker of the house is great! She will go above and beyond making sure your stay is wonderful. This was the first time for us visiting the area and we're definitely coming back. The whole family loved staying here.
