Charming Cottage

The minute we walked into the enclosed porch and I saw the vase of fresh bearded irises from Rachel's flower beds, I knew we were going to enjoy our stay. They are my favourite flower. This sweet little house was perfect for our stay. The house is simply and thoughtfully decorated to showcase the beautiful features such as the craftsman style fireplace with the built in bookcases. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils although we only had breakfast there. The bathroom is beautiful and modern and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of closet space. The community is very quiet. The property is well located and just a short walk to the GO station with service to Toronto and a bit further is the historic downtown area with lots of restaurants to choose from. Glen Williams is a short drive away and the Terra Cotta area is well worth the drive. We will definitely keep this property in mind on our next visit. .

Hi, I'm Rachel!

I grew up in Georgetown and still love getting out to the many trails in the area. I have many hobbies and am very active - outside of my teaching work, I am often hiking, tennis, playing music, or enjoying the cafes and shops nearby.

Queen's Haven was born from my passion for preserving little slices of history, and creating a beautiful space for people to enjoy.
