This Azores house is located in São Mateus, on the island of Pico. Just 200 metres from the Atlantic Ocean and a saltwater swimming pool, it overlooks Pico Mountain.
The house has a living room with sofa beds and flat-screen satellite TV, a DVD player, a private bathroom with hairdryer, a fully equipped kitchenette and a terrace.
The kitchenette includes a dining table, microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, oven and washing machine. There is also an outdoor barbecue and you can enjoy your meals on the furnished terrace. There is a local snack bar just 500 metres away.
Pico is famous for its snow-capped volcano in winter. The house is a 40-minute drive from Mount Pico, Portugal's highest peak. You can enjoy a range of water sports on the nearby seafront, including whale watching, swimming with dolphins, snorkelling, scuba diving and fishing.
