About this property
Lake Champlain house: sunsets, mountains, fishing
Beautiful lakefront cabin on Lake Champlain. Enjoy sunsets with lake and mountain views. Swim, kayak, fish, hike or just sit and enjoy the view on one of our 3 decks.
Secluded 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin at the end of a private road. Enjoy the quiet babble of the brook next to the deck while you watch wonderful sunsets.
Swim or kayak in Lake Champlain. Use the hammock or Adirondack chairs to relax or enjoy a book or nap. (Kayaks avail end May - end Sept)
Many parks and museums are a short ride in either St. Albans, Milton, or Burlington
Bike directly from the property on the roads (if you want a challenge) or drive to the Missisquoi Valley Rail-Trail(25 min) in St. Albans (for an easier ride) or to South Hero and take the bike ferry (small fee associated) and ride the causeway into Burlington.
Hike Eagle Mt.(easier, 20 min) or take a trip to Mt. Mansfield (harder, 1 hr). Enjoy walking the shops in St. Albans (20 min), Milton(<20 min) or Burlington (40 min).
Enjoy fishing from the dock (Dock available end June- end Sept depending on water levels. note: equipment not provided and VT license needed)
In the winter enjoy snowmobiling and cross country skiing on the Missisquoi Valley Rail-Trail or drive to enjoy Stowe(1 hr 6 min) or Smugglers Notch (45 min) for downhill skiing.
We have 2 kayaks to use and life vests of various sizes, please make sure they fit properly or bring your own. We recommend water shoes for protection from rocks and zebra muscles.
We book stays all year long.
Check In is Sat after 3pm

House consists of a full kitchen (toaster oven, coffee pot, microwave, stove/oven, electric waffle iron, blender and refrigerator), living room, large dining room table, WIFI, 3 decks (one on the back of the house and 2 on the beach) and is located next to a babbling brook on a private road.
Bed options: 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds or 2 queen beds. Note: The downstairs queen room only has shelves, no dresser or closet. We have a max of 4 people but can accommodate an additional person on occasion for an additional fee.
*Please do not use all 3 bedrooms unless paying for a 5th person.
Small Office area with desk and monitor available.
Children should be supervised as there are about 20 steps to the beach from the decks and beach rocks can be slippery
Highly recommend water shoes when swimming in Lake Champlain due to zebra mussels and Rocks. Zebra mussels can cut feet and are throughout all of Lake Champlain.
Outside security camera (motion activated) located on external door of external bunkhouse shows driveway, front door and lake.
Stairs on all house entrances.
