This place was great! Cute and cozy, extremely close (3 minute drive) from the free lot at the Stowe Cross Country Center where you can pick up a free shuttle to the mountain, and within walking distance of a corner convenient store that has everything you would need for a weekend getaway. We loved the decor of the place, and would absolutely stay here again.
Lovely vintage style cabin in a perfect location! The main road in/out of Stowe was right outside and there were lots of choices for restaurants nearby. A cozy spot that I highly recommend!
Stayed 4 nights for a ski trip, and the place was perfect for us (2 adults and a dog)! Travelers should know that the largest bedroom is a loft accessible via a narrow spiral staircase... Impossible for our dog, so we stayed in the smaller bedroom off the kitchen. We loved the vintage ski theme, and rustic decor. The kitchen was clean enough but spartan... That's really the only thing that I would say needs improvement. Overall, if you are into the 60s retro/rustic vibe, it's great! We are already looking to come back next year!
Well appointed kitchen, just steps away from the bus to the lifts. Clean but a quite a bit of very personal belongings of the owner there left in error. Would be an issue more for his safety than ours. He was very responsive to questions. Recycling could be labeled better, we nessed it up.

You probably can’t find a more *Vermont* style cabin, with lovely vintage skis and cozy decor, and communal areas for hanging out and enjoying each others company. The rustic kitchen had all the supplies we needed, and the bathroom worked well, soft towels and all.
Our dogs loved having space to stretch their legs in the house, and the snowy trails in either direction down the road. We could even walk over to the General Store on the corner or the Matterhorn, if needed.
The shuttle stops right at the end of the road, so perfect for quick and easy commute to the mountain. Plus the host snow-blowed the driveway right before we arrived so there was plenty of space for two cars. We would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing
Property was cluttered inside and out and lacked common amenities like fresh bar soap in bath. Floors and rugs dirty. Gas heat in living room was not working. At this/any price point these basic things are expected to be right. Price reduction requested but none offered. The property could be fine if these things were addressed.
This lovely retreat was a wonderful place for us. We did this vacation last minute ( literally almost) and Joe was great, accommodating us with 36 hrs notice. He also was very good about suggesting places to walk the dogs and responding to questions quickly.
The location was hard to beat 2 mins. from the shuttle and a handy mini mart yet off the main rd next to a snowy brook. Good for walking woofs.
The ski camp was clean, comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was very well appointed and cherry. There were lots of thoughtful details, bags for shopping, flashlights etc.. The high ceiling in main room let in a lot of light. Only drawback was the spiral staircase to main bedroom which could be difficult for dogs and kids. We had great time and would definitely go back again.
