In one of the East Bay's most coveted neighborhoods, you will enjoy a newly renovated, private cottage that is blocks to all of the goodies Rockridge has to offer. Dining, Shopping and BART are just a part of its charm. You can easily access some of the most beautiful hiking and recreation the Bay Area has to offer. This 1300 sq/ft house features 2 bedrooms and two baths a private patio with cable, WIFI internet and laundry included. This home has been maintained with maticulous care with an emphasis on livability and comfort. There is a private patio with furniture and fenced in yard. Rockridge is a family oriented neighborhood with a charm that is hard to beat. There is plenty of parking on our safe and quiet street.

Superb Rental

Haven in Oakland

This cottage is the perfect place to stay in Oakland. It's in a very quiet location with off street parking, yet very close to all the great shops, markets and restaurants. There is plenty of room to make yourself at home between activities and to get a good night's rest on the comfortable beds. We hope to be back before long!

Perfect stay

My family (including my 4 month old and 8 year old) stayed at The Little House for a week and we had a fabulous stay. The house was super clean and included everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Katie was a wonderful and informative host and extremely responsive to our communications with her. This is such a great location! Walking distance to absolutely everything you could need. We had some questions upon arrival and the host was very responsive, even following up to make sure we were good.

Location is perfect!

This is our second stay at this property. So many aspects we love such as location, ease of walking, privacy, and the parking spot! The size of the place is great for our needs traveling with my mom. It is close to Trader Joe’s to pick up any grocery items. Love the Rockridge area and was the perfect place to attend our daughters wedding in Piedmont.

Gem in Rockridge!

We loved this place, it was truly perfect. Its in a very cute neighborhood but is just a couple clocks to all the cool spots on College. One of the rare times a rental was better than the pictures!

This little house sits behind a bigger home in Rockridge. The home is well equipped and in walking/shirt drive distance to anything you would need. Great neighborhood! We loved our stay!

The home was quiet, nestled in a lovely neighborhood and we enjoyed the comfort of the bed, the amenities and it really felt cozy and like we were staying at a friends house. I would stay here every time I’m in in Oakland/Berkley area.

We loved our stay in Rockridge! Perfectly located we walked to the grocery at Market Hall, enjoyed dinner at Southie, and had a wonderfully comfortable stay. Such a special neighborhood, close to family and access to SanFrancisco was a breeze! Thank you!

We have stayed at the Private Retreat at least six times, since before Covid. We love the place both inside and outside. The location makes it an easy walk to College Ave. where we do a lot of shopping. A+

Great place to settle in!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It's clean, spacious, and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet, the neighbors are friendly, it's near wonderful shops and restaurants, and the free parking in the driveway is an added bonus. BART is a short walk away if you want to visit San Francisco. We will definitely be staying here again!
