This large spacious log home was completely rebuilt and finished in 2024 with all mattesses and bedding brand new and most every piece of furniture is either brand new or refinished. The dining room table and bathroom vanity handcrafted from slab wood by owner. The log cabin has a partial treed lakefront view with 110 foot semi-private waterfront on the best part of Newfound Lake. This tree shaded and open beach area is shared with one other home.

This log home is located on the West shore of Newfound Lake in the town of Hebron, NH. It is situated down a private dirt road in a protected cove. The view from the beach is looking at the widest part of the lake in a very peaceful and quiet part of the lake. This glacial lake is a beauty in the middle of New Hampshire and is 2.5 miles wide and 7 miles long, reaching depths of up to 180 feet, with 22 miles of shoreline. The water, fed by eight springs, is considered the most pristine in the state. The Lakes Region of New Hampshire is such a wonderful vacation spot for so many people year after year. Newfound Lake had many camps. The greatest impact on Hebron from the establishment of these camps, especially the ones that survive to this day, was unintentional. Large areas of shoreline and many acres of surrounding land have been kept in natural condition because of these camps. Further, in several cases, the land is now locked away in perpetual trusts that insures that these many acres remain forever wild. Between 1925 and 1945 tourism was a full blown industry at Hebron. The great camps that owned so much of the lakeshore on the north end kept the tourism activities and population density in Hebron much lower than that on the south end. This is still true today. Whereas, cottages and bungalows dotted the southern half, the northern half of the lake was limited to campgrounds, inns and private camp complexes. We are blessed to be in this special part of Newfound Lake!

Newfound Lake has been referred to as New Hampshire's best kept secret and is known for excellent trout and bass fishing.

There are two Wilderness System sea kayaks, one Old Town canoe, paddles, adult and children life vests plus tubes and floats and Inflatable boat with paddles. Also basketball hoop on paved driveway, corn hole, bocci ball, badmitton, and campfire pit for outdoor fun and lots of board games and WIFI.

Amazing house and setting! Beautiful, comfortable, spacious

Our extended family had a wonderful time in this beautiful log home! We enjoyed cooking and sharing meals at the huge table, plenty of beds and 2 full baths, hanging out with the view of the lake. Can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the owners are!

Perfect weekend escape!!!

This is the 3rd year we've stayed in the Log Home on Newfound Lake and can't wait until year 4 as it is now a tradition! This home was the perfect escape for a small, quiet group of moms looking for some peace and quite and to enjoy the ambiance of the Log Home as it sits on serenely Newfound Lake. Eileen is the perfect hostess as she is super easy to work with and gracious in her accommodations. The Log Home layout is perfect for lounging around, watching a movie, cooking, doing a puzzle and getting some outdoor activities. Thank you, Eileen, for sharing your little slice of Heaven!

The Most Amazing Home Ever!

Thank you so much for sharing your amazing home with us! This home literally feels like it was out of a story book. The views were great... the beach was great. It was a short drive into town for supplies. The fire pit under the stars was a perfect way to cap off our evenings. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to getaway and spend some time on Newfound Lake.

Property Review

Overall we were happy with the lovely property. The only complaint I would have is the cleanliness. I did have to clean the bathrooms & vacuum when we got there & again before we left. Other than that everything was up to our expectations according to the listing. The owners were kind, friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this property to anyone who asked.

Perfect home for family group

My family rented this wonderful home to stay together for my daughters wedding held at Ragged Mt. There was a first floor bedroom for my older folks and a downstairs bathroom for them. All the beds were comfortable and views just beautiful. Several of us enjoyed swimming in the lake, hiking and golfing nearby. We have already started talking about our next trip. Eileen was great to work with and I can't recommend this property enough.

Amazing house!

My family rents a house every year in the winter, and this was by far my favorite vacation rental! The house is so much prettier in person. It was spacious and clean. The location to the lake was perfect. Eileen was great to deal. I can't wait to go back!

A perfect, relaxing family retreat!

My husband and I along with our children and grandchildren had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful lakefront log home. Eileen and Paul greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the house and waterfront area. We knew this was the perfect place when a spectacular rainbow filled the sky as we walked to the water's edge. This vacation home had all the things necessary for a fun and relaxing vacation on a lake...kayaks, canoe, a float to jump off of into the crystal clear lake, a small sandy beach for the grandchildren and a scenic view of the mountains. Thank you for sharing this little piece of Heaven with us!

Beautiful and roomy

The house is even more beautiful than the pictures portray. It is also super roomy. We enjoyed its central location and took our kids up to Santas Village (1.25 hrs), Polar Caves (15 min), Meredith (30 min). We loved the log decor throughout the house! Of note, the beach faces the owners family's beach- it is a shared space. Some days we had it to ourselves and other days we didn't. Eileen was very hospitable to us and our kids had a fabulous time, too! When in the area we will definitely be hoping this is available again.

Log Cabin

Eileen is exceptional! She was very quick to respond to all our questions and was very helpful and flexible. The log house is very clean and absolutely gorgeous. My friends and I had a great time and the space is more than enough for our group of 7. Looking forward to booking this place again!

Great Place to Stay

If you are looking for a place to get away from it all ...this is the cabin to be at. We went up for an ice fishing trip and had an amazing stay. The house was beautiful and spacious...and had all the amenities you could desire for a simplistic destination away from home. The location is great...set back from the lake a little bit for privacy...but close enough to take a stroll down to the water's edge. The fishing was great...and the peace and quiet was like no other. I would recommend this cabin for any family gathering....fishing trip...or even just a couples retreat to a beautiful location. Thank You again Eileen for your kindness and for letting us share your beautiful home. -Derek

Why they chose this property

Newfound Lake is a gorgeous gem in the State of New Hampshire and has been part of Eileen's life since 1952

What makes this property unique

My family is blessed to have this special and likely the best spot on Newfound Lake in our life since 1954. Newfound Lake is a VERY special New Hampshire gem and the part of the lake we are on is some of the best areas on the lake. Over the 70 plus years I have been there it is still a special non commercialized lake life experience that few ever get to experience. Crystal clear water, deep water moored swim raft, camp fire pit, canoe, kayaks. Come experience "Lake Life"
