Golden is easily accessible by car, bus, or rail. Major highways (I-70, Hwy 6, Hwy 58, Hwy 93, and C-470) connect the city, just 20 minutes west of downtown Denver.
RTD serves Golden with Bus Route 17 to Federal Center Station, Bus Route 16 to downtown Denver from Oak Station, and the W Line light rail between Jefferson County Government Center and Union Station.
Cyclists can use the Regional Clear Creek Trail, C-470 Bikeway, and designated bike routes on 32nd and 44th Avenue, plus Ford Street’s north-south light rail bike route.
