A Hidden Gem in Puerto Rico – Your Dream Beach Escape
Our journey to owning this beautiful home in Puerto Rico is a story of family, love for the island, and the pursuit of something truly special. Originally from New Jersey, I grew up with a deep connection to Puerto Rico, visiting the island whenever I could. After raising three amazing sons and welcoming three wonderful grandchildren, my husband and I decided it was time to fulfill a dream we had been nurturing for years: owning a home in Puerto Rico.
The only thing I knew for sure was that it had to be walking distance to the beach, where I could hear the ocean's soothing sound. My husband, on the other hand, had one non-negotiable request: no mountains (since Puerto Rico is known for its mountainous terrain!). The search was on, and after some effort, we found a property that checked both of our boxes.
We found a charming home that sat on an acre of flat land surrounded by lush island vegetation and palm trees, just 100 feet from a hidden beach – the most beautiful beach I had ever seen. I caught it at golden hour, with the waves roaring and the ocean speaking to me in a way I’ve never experienced before. Honestly, I’ve never felt so close to God. To top it off, our home offers stunning views of both the sunrise and sunset, all from our front and back porches. A short hike brings you to the Indian Caves, where the views are breathtaking and the scenery changes with every step.
Two years later, the house is fully renovated and now oozes luxury and comfort. We are incredibly proud of what we’ve created and decided it was too beautiful not to share. We want to offer this peaceful haven to you, so you can experience the magic of Puerto Rico just as we have.
There’s so much to explore right here, from the beach to local history, and we promise this will be a place you'll want to return to every chance you get.
Come and make memories at our special slice of paradise – we can't wait to share it with you!

Why they chose this property
I chose the neighborhood of Islote, Arecibo, Puerto Rico, because of its untouched natural beauty and its authentic, local charm. Unlike typical tourist destinations, there are no large hotels, chain restaurants, or commercial attractions here. Islote offers a unique vacation experience that allows you to escape the typical tourist hustle and immerse yourself in a truly peaceful and serene environment.
This area feels like a hidden paradise, preserved in its original, unspoiled form. It’s a place where time slows down and you can truly appreciate the simplicity of life. Many of our neighbors have owned their properties for generations, and they are humble, hard-working people who take pride in their rich traditions and stories.
What I love most about the neighborhood is the strong sense of community. The warmth and hospitality of the people here will make you feel welcome and safe from the moment you arrive. Islote is a place where you can relax, recharge, and connect with the genuine spirit of Puerto Rico.
