My wife and I are avid cyclists so location to good riding and interesting destinations is paramount. This little cottage was perfect for cycling to Palm Beach and along the lake. Julie was most gracious checking us in and recommended an astounding Thai restaurant within walking (cycling) distance.
Private and convenient location, worked well for us. Julie was very pleasant and clearly expressed availability if we had needed it. While cottage within her property, she was not intrusive in the shared, fenced yard space. It is a small space good for 2 people( 3 would be manageable but tight in “ living room/ kitchen” area). It was clean and comfortable for what we needed for weekend stay. Some woodwork looked due for paint refresh, but it that could be expected of historic home. Walking the neighborhood was lovely, with a lot of interesting homes to see. People we passed by when walking our dogs were very friendly. Area felt safe, including at night. We did not use pool, so cannot comment on it.

Tired and needs painting and deep cleaning
The whole reason we booked this site was because it said heated pool- the pool was not heated. The photos and pics are old and needs newer photos. It has been years since it has seen a coat of paint and a deep cleaning.

Shabby not chic
1. Very musty smelling. I bought air fresheners to cover the smell.2. Although the washer/dryer unit was new, the washer did not work or worked sporadically on the bulky setting only.3. I was visited by a rat in the trash under the kitchen sink. The owner promptly came to my rescue with “supplies”. The rodent was caught and disposed of, but that was a first for me and left me very unsettled for the remainder of my stay. I would have moved, but nothing else was available in the area. I was stuck!4. Owner was pleasant5. Pool and backyard quiet and comfortable. The place has potential, but needs serious TLC!

Great little place near downtown WPB.
Just me stayed here as I was in town for a baseball tournament. Nice little space and property owner was excellent. Great hospitality and I would certainly recommend this to others!
Julie’s backyard poolside cottage was perfect for us because she and Toby were wonderfully welcoming. The space is tiny but efficient, with everything we needed, and located in a lovely residential neighborhood.
My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay here. We enjoyed the private pool very much. The apartment was perfectly spacious, very clean and had all the amenities that we needed for our weeks stay. Clean, well thought out, private and peaceful oasis.

Wonderful cottage, great location.
Very well cared for cottage . It made a great home base for jaunts to various nearby beaches and towns. Perfect place for two. Loved the sounds of the distant trains. Bed was a bit firm for my back, but managed fine. Excellent value and lots of privacy. Had a wonderful time!
We loved our guest house, felt like we were staying with family. Our favorite was the very lovely yard and perfectly sized pool for us and our visiting family members. Pool floats, towels and laundry facilities were easily accessible. The water temperature was wonderful and the landscape was beautiful.
The hosts were kind and friendly but allowed us our privacy. We look forward to a future stay.
This property would be perfect for 1-2 people. Even though it was a bit cramped for the 3 of us, it was a great overall experience. The neighborhood and the property were wonderful, and Julie our hostess was as good as it gets. The communication from her was almost instantaneous, and she was very pleasant and accommodating.
Perfect cute little cottage for our family of 3 for a weekend getaway. The pool was very inviting and so warm. The parking was perfect for our truck, trailer, and 26ft boat to store at night . Perfect location.. just blocks away from curry park boat ramp and a quick boat ride to Peanut Island. Julie was so sweet and very accommodating. We will definitely come back.

Lovely private sanctuary
We scheduled our trip to WPB and made an arrangement with another property, however the owner canceled last minute, so we had to find another property quickly. How lucky we were to find this little cottage. Julie has made this transaction super easy, and we enjoyed our long week spending most of our time by the pool. The property looks even better in person, and the pool area is wonderful. The cottage is private, well maintained, located in historic district and close to everything. The owners are lovely, even though we saw them twice during our visit. Highly recommend this property and will come back to visit again.

Perfect Cottage for 1 to 2 people
I was very impressed with this cute cottage in a hip part of West Palm Beach, FL. I went there by myself to take classes in the area and ended up having 2 family members stop by for the evening. The bed and the sleep sofa was very comfortable. The cottage was located behind the owners home, which was very private and they respected my privacy. The owners were very professional and easy to communicate with if I needed some information on the area or the cottage. I'm going back there again for a couple of weeks in April and I look forward to checking out more of the Northwood area this time, which has some great restaurants and have local craft sidewalk artists selling their art. The beautiful beaches are very close by, it's just a quick 5 to 10 minute drive.
The home was clean and well maintained. There was a musty odor that was a bit off putting to me but my husband didn’t even smell it at all so maybe it was me! It wasn’t from anything I saw that was unclean. The living area was relatively spacious with 2 chairs and a sofa. The bedroom had a nice closet and the bed was comfy. The outside area was great, nice pool area with several seating areas available. We ran out of conditioner and the host left us some by the door immediately. The sink in the bathroom was not draining well and she indicated that she would take care of it. The location in Old Northwood is fantastic. Wonderful area to walk around with beautiful homes as well as a couple of streets with restaurants and cafes. The host was very accommodating; overall a lovely place to stay in a great neighborhood!

Pool Paradise, Clean, Cozy, Great Location!
As Florida residents, we rented the cottage as a romantic weekend getaway within a couple of hours of our home. This cottage is clean, cozy, well stocked with amenties and in a great location! We tried the Sunset Bar and Grille based on another persons review and loved the fun, retro vibe. Think 70's disco music, ABBA dancing queen, etc. fun lighting and a great outdoor bar area. City Place was a fun place to visit as well as Antique Row and Culpepper and Sons Nautical (think "pickers" for boater/marina decorators) with cool finds from old cruise boats, ships from all over the world. The pool is lush with beautiful landscaping, a great paradise escape, well maintained as was as perfect temperature. Although the owners home windows face the pool area, they respect your privacy. Julie was personable and easy to work with. We are hoping to stay again the next time we go to West Palm Beach.

Terrific neighborhood. Charming cabana.
Tip o' the cap to our host couple. Booked this cottage at the last minute, and they could not have been more accommodating. Our plane was late. He stayed up late to see us in. The cottage is perfect for a couple. We had plenty of room. Loved the eclectic decor, and anyplace with original art on the walls. The pool is heated, relaxing and well cared for in an old Florida manicured garden. Perfect for a pre-dinner cocktail.
The best reason to stay here is the spunky/retro neighborhood. within a 5 minute stroll are terrific restaurants, art shops, This Is It Cafe for breakfast, a world of friendly, artsy small business owners and neighborhood patrons. The Sunset Grille is a must for dinner!
I urge you to stay here...so much nicer than a chain hotel and box of a room. One caveat: the trains run at night close by. They don't rattle your cage or anything, but they toot their horns a lot. (It's a noble sound...like heralds trumpeting victory, not a stopper...but be warned. And you hear these horns up & down the Palm Coast anywhere Mr. Flagler laid his railroad tracks.). Only reason I don't award a fifth star. But a very fair price. Book it now!

Pictures are deceiving
This property is in a nice are of W Palm Beach. Overall property needs a makeover. Nothing close to what it was in the pictures. Smell of mold, dirty ceiling and A/C vents from not changing the filter in a long time. Found a roach a spider, sofa bed mattress super old, stained, furniture had a moldy smell. Was told we could use the pool, had leaves and was given the pool strainer and left for ME to clean. Only stayed one night because we had a convention in the area. Otherwise would have left the same day. Bathroom had hand soap that was water down, headboard on the bed coming off the wall. Overall not pleased with this property. Not to mention were not able to relax or sleep like we wanted to. NOT pleased at all. FULL refund, would be a nice way to make it up to me and my family. Older reviews I just saw on this property already had the same comments and issues. NOT pleased at at. Will consider using a different service other than this app also
